Could you do me a favor? I'm writing an essay for my French class and can't, for the life of me, figure out how to say this one phrase. It's "If a person does not know what is worth dying for, then he does not know what is worth living for." Could tell me how to translate this?
I have the same problem than you in spanish...And the teacher always speaks in spanish, sometimes im like, am i the only one who did not understand that!!! :ponder: Ok about that phrase here goes: Si une personne ne sait pas ce qui mérite son sacrifice , alors elle ne sait pas ce qui mérite d'être vécue. I didn't do a word by word translation but meaning by meaning. This is what i would have said in french. Tell me how it turned out!
