I can see lonliness. But I can also see expectation, as if she's waiting for something. It's amazing the kind of emotions a picture can convey, even if nothing's really happening. 
I find pictures like these really nice. Nothing's happening on the surface, but deep below a lot of things are going on, and it's all a matter of what the person who's looking at it can dig up.

That's the way I feel about this picture. Even if it seems rather inert, I did spend a lot of time on it, and for me it holds a lot of anticipation. I'm not sure of what, but that's definitely one of the emotions I was feeling when I worked the details.
