That just goes to show how great you are at it. Wink I don't think I have ever doodled or sketched or drawn on anything other than a sketch pad. I am so anal about that. I suck at it otherwise.

lol, sorry the expression made me laugh. I'll have to use that one!

Before i couldn't even draw anything without a picture or a model, i needed something to base my drawing from, i used to say that the only kind of drawing i could do was the observation one. But, i realized i had never tried to actually draw, even before i had ever tried i kept sayingl; i cant do it. so one day i took a pen a let myself go ,sometimes its nice, sometimes i dont like it... But if we give ourselves a chance I think everybody can do it. There is one thing i remember from my art class is college: Beauty has nothing to do with art!

Well said, love. I think every artist has their good days and their bad days. I have quite a few bad days, but I keep going. I have never been able to draw from people posing for me. I just can't do it. I need to be able to just sit down with a picture and draw from that. I am a cheater. LOL I do think everyone can be an artist. It just depends how much dedication and practice they put into it.

I agree! And i think you are rather dedicated, so im sure you'll do it, the first step is letting yourself go, i know it might be annoying to hear this, but its true! This is what i think: when we draw, we make our own little world, we create, we can do whatever we want. When we draw from a model or pictures, it's the same thing, we do our own version of something already existing, who said it has to be exactly like what you see! You can draw whatever you want, well im babbling, but when i couldnt draw "by myself" it was because i was too hard with myself, i wanted my drawing to be exactly like what i had in mind, or exaclty like vegeta, after a few strokes i gave up because it was clear it was never like what i wanted...but i learned to keep it up, and yeah it's not what i wanted but pretty interesting...For me there is nobody who cant draw.

That's like what I tell everybody. We are our own worst critics. To us our pictures will never be the way we want them. We always pick apart our pieces and worry about what is wrong with them. No matter how trivial.

oh yes thats true, and you can apply that to every aspect of life, our weight, the way we look, our job...everything
