[Art] Long Night into Dawn

Im actauuly really liking this image, the structure and the elements and the colours. And his back ...just fab.

Only thin Im not liking, is the tattoo sleeve of clouds or something on his left arm. I feel it's too abstract, even for a tatto. If it were tribal or some I could see it a bit more, but its just slightly odd seeing this hunky, tough man's man contemplating his business and being manly like and he's got these fluffy clouds and sly blue tattoo sleeve. Doesn't mesh to me, though I do like the ace of spades on his wrist. And I actually think the angel tattoo is just fine as is.

I can see what you're saying but that's how his tattoo kinda looks from the back. Basically this is a glorified sketch and although I did put 'effort' into it, I left quite a few parts messy or kinda unfinished.

His tat really looks like this:

Not to mention there are culture/personal significance to his tats.

Ahhhh, okay, his tat really looks better from those other two angles, I suppose it's one of those tats that you have to see the "important" parts of it to "see" it. And if this is a glorified sketch I'm likely to feel incredibly incompetent if I look at some of your "finished" pieces I think -- oph wait already did, and kinda do :B
