It does, but we register it so easily in our eyes that it has become a "boring" colour in comparison to like... red or something. I read an article about it in an art book once. it's good to see it used.
Maybe I'm a little odd, then. I mean, flat kelly green without highlights doesn't get my attention, but I seem endlessly fascinated by the green/yellow mixes of sunlight in leaves, and I could (and might) build a fairy-palace out of the shapes and tone-variations in some of the weeds by the side of the road.
Oh- tha'ts what I'm saying Green by its self is un exciting, but with other colours it's great People will often discount it though cause it doesn't make an impact on its own
