ArkillianDragon The King had a daughter as part of a treaty with another country, the people he had a child with being a crystalline specie. They don't know it, but the daughter runs on magic, and if she doesn't get it, she goes into a hibernation state- the statue. The main character is able to animate her cause he has super large amounts of magical energy, and is able to keep her sentient, and her taking his energy makes sure that he doesn't overload on magic. She's half human, half crystaline
She's the blond haired girl on the left. I considered making her totally colourless, but it was a little strange to draw, but her hair, eyes, and skin lack pigment. I'm still deciding on her eyebrows and lashes as it makes her difficult to draw :/Firiel Crystal-hybrid princess. ^_^ Nifty.
I'll do some research on how to draw 10 year olds. I may have the face shape a little too long. I'm not use to drawing children.
Funny you say about keeping secrets and stuff. I had contemplated a version of her which is learning dark dealings on the side, and her growing up to want to take the country in a different direction cause of it, but I may not want to do that kind of character for her XD We'll see. I'm glad you like her
