Do you know, when I was little, reading LOTR, I had a fiery hatred for her I guess I was too much of a hardcore Aragorn/Arwen shipper hahaha But now we're good, we talked, understood each other reasons and now we are best friends for life 😆😆😆
...It's not like she was ever even really a threat to Aragorn/Arwen in the first place. A few months max of one-sided crush does not a fated love story make. :p
Yes, you're absolutely right but you see, I was somewhat between 11 and 13 years old, a little fanatic fangirl in the making, in a time when words like fandom/shipping/tumblr didn't even exist... of course for me EVERYTHING was a threat to my precious "ships" and Aragorn/Arwen was my very first otp.. my god, I was so obsessed hahahaha😂😂😂
...Unless you are much older than I estimate, fandom and shipping communities were probably already around, although they were much less loud and proud than they are now.
