Personality: Dǖm was stolen from a prominent hatchery at a very young age. The stablehand there (a non-descript human only known as "Thief") overheard the owners discussing the value of their newest Stryx. Thief abandoned their post and stole Dǖm, holing up in a cave in the mountains above the hot desert scrublands. There, Dǖm defends their misbegotten valuables from other ne'er-do-wells with her considerable size and prickly demeanor.

Dǖm is about as intelligent as Dracostryx come, and with that intelligence comes a nasty attitude. Her behavior could be compared to a particularly persnickety parrot. Very full of herself, liking few people, and judgemental of many. "Shitbird" is the nickname Thief gives her, and it's an accurate moniker.
