Personality: Desert has wisened up in her years, but she’s not any less joyful. She’s no longer living in the stables, and instead has become the village’s mascot, picking any roof of her choosing for resting each night. She’s come to terms with her size, and she dramatically mourns about it.

She loves to participate around the village, whether it be hunting, scavenging, or serving as a guide for young Stryx.

Desert also leaves the villages for days at a time, returning to her wilder roots. Not too wild, though, because her handler always makes sure to pack a saddlebag for her.

Facts:

Her saddle has two breastplates, because she was a careless flier when she was younger and her handler was never brave enough to see if she was just biding her time.

(The lower breastplate meets from the saddle in front of her wings to the girth in front of her legs. The upper breastplate starts at the very front of the saddle, connects to a collar, and then connects to the lower breastplate. Her bandana was made by the village elder as a thank you for for helping the village develop when it was still being built.

She is not good at mimicry, and thus can only “talk” to other bird and raptor type Stryx.
