Brief biography: Moth was born to two travling performers who were forced to give them up due to travel. The nearest village contained a large library full of a church-like group dedicated to protecting the knowledge inside who banned together to raise the singular baby when Mothrine was left on their doorstep. Despite appearing human, 0ne of their parents was in fact a non-human (elf or fairy like person, undecided), and Moth had a huge disconnect from everyone else in the villiage as a child. The other children in the village play a trick on them that gets them lost inside the woods where Mothrine meets a motherly witch that convinces them to learn magic with her and takes them back to the village. Over the years Moth learns magic from this person while also still feeling disconected from their home. On their 16th birthday the witch convinces them to do a powerful spell with her that severs the hex that keeps her tied to the cursed woods she resides in and instead ties Moth to them in her stead. Moth slowly decents into maddness alone, turning to trickery and illusion to get entertainment from tormenting anyone who enters.
