Brief biography: Zora is the eldest daughter of minor nobleman in Chedra.  She is also a talented magic user.  While few upper class Chedran women have a profession outside the home, Zora's magical gift opened up opportunities for education and work.  She joined the Magical Service at the age of 18 and was trained to help in magical emergencies by Merian Rada.  The war hero, Merian Rada.   The very attractive war hero, Merian Rada.   

After a stormy relationship and a broken engagement, Zora now realizes that a person should be more careful about getting involved with very attractive war heroes.  But they remain close friends.   Perhaps, Zora suspects, a little too close
