Brief biography: From a fantasy-esque universe. As a young man, Draeger was a gladiator of sorts, and was doing pretty well at it until a drunken afterparty brawl resulted in the loss of part of his arm and forced his retirement. He made a point of quickly fading to obscurity due to his own shame and bolted out of town as soon as he could. After a couple of years feeling sorry for himself and doing the minimum to get by, he moved on to researching and iterating on a custom prosthetic on his own -- it's low grade enchanted and magic-driven, but pretty much does nothing other than act like, well, an arm. It's also why he now wears gloves year round -- he'd rather hide what happened than face what he essentially did to himself. With that goal completed, he sinced moved on and has been traveling in search of a new noble to serve, though probably in a more advisory position rather than a guard.
