Brief biography: Elara's powers were a certainty, even before she was born. Her distant ancestors had made a deal with a demon to grant their entire bloodline otherworldly powers, they knew someone would pay for their careless pact but were sure the consequences would never affect them. They were right. Elara came many generations after them, so much so that everyone had forgotten about the foretold consequences of the pact until she was born. The day Elara was born was the beginning of years of drought and famine. At the time this coincidence was taken with a grain of salt, but over the years more of the young and vaunrable died, leaving Elara as the only surviving child of her generation to survive. She was blamed for the misfortunes of the village and she and her family were banished to the Soultrap Forest; a deep and dense forest on the outskirts of the village. While in the forest Elara and her parents were tortured by the endless whispers and shrieks of lost spirits and ghosts. Eventually her parents both went mad and disappeared deep into the forest. Elara had been cursed by the ancient demon but was also protected as his pupet. She struggled through the ancient forest and with the demons help escaped the curse keeping her in, becoming the only person ever to exit the Soultrap Forest. While escaping the forest she gained many scars, the worst being a gash over both her eyes, leaving her unable to see.
