Brief biography: Quillen, alongside his sister, was hatched in the care of an older Quilled Doppler by the name of "Apotheosis". Apotheosis cared for the two Dopplers like they were his own, protecting and teaching them the ways of the world, and the ways of magic. Unfortunately, those teachings seemed to be all for naught, as Quillen [and his eggmate] was a Quilled Doppler.

Filled to the brim with fear and anxiety, Quillen spent most of his days curled under a chair, a table, or in a burrow outside to shield himself from the dangers around; dangers that his 'father' already kept at bay. So despite being in a safe environment, the young Quillen remained on edge, on guard and hiding whenever he could. He spent decades of his life living in fear of his shadow until one day he was gifted something special, something that would turn his life around, something that would wash all his fear away... The Bandana of Bravery. 

It was an old, washed out looking thing that was said to hold the bravery of the Gods; a trait that would be passed on to its user. Ever since recieving the gift, Quillen has felt the feeling of courage course through his body and thus refuses to take it off, or even let anyone else touch it.

It was a touching moment when he decided to leave home to see the world, and leave his mark on it.

Quillen is a Quilled, or Spined, Dopper. He is covered in extremely durable, razor sharp spines that are strong enough to stop a crossbow bolt. He has large, powerful claws that are meant for digging fast, and digging deep, into the ground where he can nest or escape danger. He can also run quite fast to escape an enemy, but with his is bandana of bravery on, he's more likely to stay and fight.
