Brief biography: Having lived in beachy region on the border between the great jungle and forest (known simply as Borderbeach) her entire life, Laine was able to see it evolve and change into what it has become today... for better or worse.

While her childhood friend went onto the tourism sector, Laine strives to try and balance the desires of the people of the small town with the encroaching development of a resort and casino... because she doesn't really want to let anyone down.

She's hardworking and sociable, but her desire to be a people-pleaser is her gravest weakness - especially in combo with her avoidance towards asking for any work of help or assistance.

    thinly veiled vent oneshot that i don't even remember writing because of how low i was feeling when it was written.. it's been a while since there's been one of these, huh? i'm feeling better now thankfully.

    keep in mind that though the grief is very much real to chel and laine, this is at the point where wasundari faked her own death and she's very much alive still
