Brief biography: Claxus hails from a small town in the realms that no longer exists. He does not know what happened to it, only that it suddenly vanished one day, as if it were never there. Since then, he's faced many trials in his life to simply just get by. From fighting for his life to making a deal with an unworldly warlock patron, nothing really seemed to go his way. Despite his shortcomings, he still tries to be a good person--though his sticky fingers tend to itch when the opportunity to indulge himself in riches presents itself and none of his friends are looking...

Social interactions before he met his friends never seemed to work out and initially he didn't understand why. That is, until one night he caught a glimpse of himself in a river during one of his baths. Despite being able to see out of it just fine, his left eye had been corrupted by the patron's evil magic, turning it into something truly horrifying to look at. This realization prompted him to don the eyepatch he refuses to take off when interacting with others. If one were to glance into his uncovered cursed eye, they would likely be dealt psychological damage from simply glimpsing into the eldritch horrors underneath.
