Brief biography: Leaf (at face value) is a nomadic "knight" of sorts, traveling the lands with her horse Cornflower. She doesn't believe in predestined purpose, which is exactly why she's so laid back. She comes equipped for any situation, and actively seeks out new sensations whenever possible. She loves people and will try to ingratiate herself into many communities that she revisits. If it doesn't work? No problem! Persistence never hurt anyone. Yet. She has an unhealthy habit of seeking the company of broken souls, and will often hear out their problems for a short time. While the advice she gives is valid, she never realizes the burden that words may put on her. She carries many secrets from many dangerous people. Her day to day activities are usually anywhere between taking a casual stroll with Corny, staking out and drawing some interesting scenery, or absolutely barreling through any who oppose the two. Mostly. They know when to run away if they need to. Most of the time.

Despite Leaf's first impression, she lives with grandiose wealth in the middle of nowhere, owning an impressively endowed estate with many natural assets and a hefty sum of capable warriors on the premises. Each of them, although reformed, carry a cumbersome past of crime that they seek to work out of their system thanks to Leaf. Most who enter the estate don't come out; Life is better there for the most part, and especially hospitable and forgiving to those that have gone through the behavioral repair curriculum. 
Most of this is made possible by special binds that Leaf herself pattents and endows with magic, allowing all magic and a good portion of their wearer's strength to be sapped into the metal. They work near flawlessly, and require her (or a trusted associate's) approval to take them off. This dampening effect will persist only as long as they are on.
Her magic itself is mainly defensive, with a wild affinity for weakening her target in order to get away, or to apprehend them with whatever she can. She has an incredible weakness to anything lightning or electricity based, and will avoid it like the plague.
