Brief biography: Summoned by the elder witch Ophiria Agathodaemon, Flamel grew up around all kinds of arcane rituals and forbidden magics, but what caught his attention was alchemy: the process of transmutation, stripping materials to their very core and harnessing their essence to create something new, it was fascinating. Watching his master - practically his mother - create all sorts of substances left him thinking... what if he could do that, too? What if he... could do more things? On his own? The witch's little cottage in the woods was cozy, and he was never neglected or mistreated under her care, but... the world out there sounded so big and wonderful... what if he could go out to see it for himself?

Ophiria sensed the feline's longing for independence, and thankfully for him, she understood. She saw potential in the black cat. He could use some experience with the outside world... and the link between her and him would never fade, so what did she have to lose? So, after procuring him some appropiately-sized robes (it'd do him no good to be mistaken for any regular cat!), the witch sent her familiar off into the unknown.

Flamel quickly realized everything was far more overwhelming than he'd expected. He already made it this far, though, didn't he?
