Brief biography: Born into a dying world, cold deserts strewn with the remnants of a fallen civilisation and the carcasses of dead gods leaking tainted magic into their surroundings, Zavahier has always lived a nomadic lifestyle. Once, there was a small pride of manticores; mother, aunts, brothers and sisters and cousins. Some left. Some died. Some were twisted by magic as they scavenged cursed places, becoming mindless beasts. In time, Zavahier was the only one left. 

Searching for other manticores yielded nothing but bones and dust. The ruins of ancient cities and temples posed more questions than they answered, as Zavahier's solitude awoke an interest in archaeology and magic. By studying the past, perhaps it was possible to forge a future. A cryptic message in crumbling ruins pointed the way, and Zavahier followed, travelling for endless miles. This path led to another city, and a piece of old technology sprung to life. It opened a portal to a new world, one teeming with something that had not existed on Zavahier's world in generations: life. 

Travelling was second nature to Zavahier, and there was no reason to stop now. There were, after all, so many new worlds to explore. Getting used to being around others might take a little longer.

Description: Zavahier is around 2'6" tall at the shoulder, with an exceptionally thin and gangly body. Highly flexible, this creature is able to twist and contort into a variety of shapes, incredibly agile as well as a swift runner. Zavahier's physical and mental gender shifts periodically between male and neuter, although the difference is hard for strangers to make out from first glance.
