Species Biography: Error is from a robotic and magic-biological species. Botts create colorless husks and masks and insert a Crystal into the engine in the middle of the chassis. This Crystal attracts a soul which latches onto the husk and forms a shell over the span of seven to ten months. The soul gives their shell color and forms their hands, feet and legs, ears, and tail, alongside any other traits that the bott may assume. The Crystal initally placed into the husk becomes settled into the bott's body, usually on the stomach but possibly elsewhere. The Crystal starts as a bright white pearl, but when a soul attaches to it, the Crystal changes shape and color to fit the new bott's personality and colors.

Physical Appearance Description: Short (around 5'3" or 160 cm), fox-like, ephemeral-robotic mixed body - Error's ears, fur, abdomen, thighs, and tail are magical and will appear as a sort of glitchy mist if damaged, but can be touched as normal. Their mask, or face, is a glass screen and spherical. Their arms, lower legs, and torso are made of robotic material. Their Crystal is physical. Error's mask can display any emoticons, shapes, images, etc. but the LED color must remain solid yellow. When idle (zoning out, particularly neutral, bored) or sleeping, Error's mask will display their engine pulse - a bott's "heartbeat". This looks the same as human heartbeat displays. Important: Error has multiple eyes and mouths that appear at random on their body. The mouth on their stomach is their Crystal, and the eyes on their tail are permanent. Small eyes and mouths that pop up elsewhere are incorporeal like their fur and disappear every time someone blinks. The positions and amount of these are different for everyone looking at them, even if both are looking at them at the same time.
