Max Lin was born in a bustling trading city. Despite being born into a middle-class family with three older brothers, he preferred spending his time reading and exploring the market. He had a keen interest in the underbelly of the city and often roamed the slums, buying various trinkets and charms.

Right now traits

Max is a solitary person and prefers to keep his distance from others. He often talks to his spider statue, treating it as if it were real. He also keeps a list of people he dislikes and holds grudges against. Although he can see spirits, he rarely interacts with them, except to answer their questions or to stop their pestering.
