The Lackadaisy Loft is where lost or unwanted Stryx come to live under the care of loving volunteers who come together to work with their communities and find new homes for these spry little dragonlets! Sometimes, breeders might become overwhelmed with bountiful clutches, or an individual may find themselves in situations where they can no longer keep their Stryx. The Lackadaisy Lofts is the safe-havens that provide these owners with help and relief, and even provide Bauble payments as a gesture of good faith that they will do their utmost to care for and rehome every Stryx, or prepare them for release and a life in the wild.

Loft Adoption Rules
How many times may I adopt?
Everyone is allowed to adopt ONCE from the Loft. This adoption is per PLAYER, not per account. You may not adopt again from an alt account after your first adoption.
May I adopt if I already have a stryx?
This adoption is not dependent on whether you have acquired a stryx yet. You may opt to hang onto your one adoption and use it at any point after you've joined.
My preferred stryx got claimed before I could!
If the Stryx you wanted was already adopted out, please leave a NEW comment with your new claim!
I adopted the wrong stryx by mistake!
If you mistakenly adopted a Stryx you did not mean to adopt, you may make an exchange within the first 24 hours of adoption.
There's a stryx pending surrender that's not in the Loft yet. May I have it?
A stryx pending in the queue is not available for adoption until it's in the Loft spreadsheet. I you want a stryx that's pending, you'll have to wait until it's processed into the spreadsheet.

Loft Surrender Rules
Is surrendering a stryx to the Loft permanent?
Once you have surrendered a stryx to the loft, you may not ask for it back.
I have an import/geno. May I surrender it?
Both genotypes and imports may be surrendered to the loft. The rewards for lofting a geno and an import are the same.
How many stryx may I surrender?
Please limit your surrenders to a max of 5 stryx per day.
What happens to stryx sent to the Loft?
Stryx surrendered to the Loft may be given up for Adoption or marked for Wild Release. Adoption surrenders will be placed into the list of stryx available to other players. Wild Release stryx will be removed from the game.
What are the rewards for Lofting a stryx?
Players may choose from one of two rewards, a Bauble payout reckoned according to the stryx's genotype (see payout breakdown), or a randomized item reward (see potential rewards). The payout is the same between adoption and wild surrenders.
