{ Eláfkeri Health Guide }

Like all other animals, Eláfkeria can be born with or develop health issues that can affect their daily lives. This health guide explains the most common issues they present, and how they affect them.

Eláfkeria bor with conditions that affect them must go through Health Rehabilitation before they can participate in the activities that could otherwise cause them harm.

{ Healthy Eláfkeria and Conditions without Effects }

Thanks to their sturdiness, most Eláfkeria are born healthy. Sometimes, an Eláfkeri will be born with genetic mutations that— despite being rare conditions— have no health-related impacts on them.

The best known examples are Albinism, Melanism, Leucism, Chimerism, and Vitiligo. These mutations cause pigmentation to be presented differently in an Eláfkeri, but cause no health-related difficulties on their daily lives. Albino Eláfkeria must take care under the sun, and should not expose themselves to harsh sunlight, but remain overall healthy.

There are also lesser known, physical conditions that, while they're not considered particularly beneficial, they're also not considered harmful. The oddest examples contain Alar, Chiroptera, and Dasher, all of which cause an Eláfkeri to be born with modified or extra limbs. These may make an Eláfkeri clumsier, but they usually adapt well, and present no issues.

{ Blindness }

Some Eláfkeri are born blind due to inbreeding. This condition can sometimes present in pupils that look lighter than the iris.

Blind Eláfkeria cannot participate in the following before going through Health Rehabilitation:

• Hunting •

• Quests •

• Sabering •

• Scavenging •

• Sky Racing •

Blindness can only naturally occur in an Eláfkeri through inbreeding, but it can also be developed if chosen by the player. To make your healthy Eláfkeri blind, change their health status to "Blind". Keep in mind this action cannot be reversed, and the Eláfkeri will be bound to its effects like any other blind Eláfkeri.

{ Angel Wing Syndrome }

Eláfkeria may also be born with Angel Wing Syndrome, which is also known as Airplane Wing, Slipped Wing, and Crooked Wing Syndrome. This condition causes the last wing joint to become twisted, making the flight feathers to point out when the wing is folded. This condition permanently prevents an Eláfkeri from flying, but does not cause it any pain.

Eláfkeria with Angel Wing Syndrome cannot participate in the following before going through Health Rehabilitation:

• Dream Divination •

• Hunting •

• Quests •

• Sabering •

• Scavenging •

Eláfkeria with Angel Wing Syndrom cannot participate in the following:

• Sky Racing •

Angel Wing Syndrome can only naturally occur in an Eláfkeri through inbreeding.

{ Cardiac Aplasia }

The most dangerous condition an Eláfkeri can be born with is cardiac aplasia. Aplasia is a condition in which an organ is underdeveloped, in ths case, the heart. This condition causes the Eláfkeri to have delicate heart issues, and prevent it from participating in demanding activities.

Eláfkeria with Cardiac Aplasia cannot participate in the following before going through Health Rehabilitation:

• Dream Divination •

• Quests •

• Scavenging •

Eláfkeria with Angel Wing Syndrom cannot participate in the following:

• Hunting •

• Sabering •

• Sky Racing •

Cardiac Aplasia can only naturally occur in an Eláfkeri through inbreeding.

{ Health Rehabilitation }

Eláfkeria with harmful health conditions can go through a health rehabilitation process to be able to participate in some activities. Some conditions permanently prevent an Eláfkeri from participating, regardless of the rehabilitation. Healthy Eláfkeria cannot go through the rehabilitation process.
