PKMN-CRATER "Mundane" Life: A New Friend?

Crystal wasn't too sure what she was thinking as she walked up to the building, seeing some Pokemon run about and other trainers approach the building, some already interacting with the Pokemon that is currently being housed by the adoption center.

 

She honestly had thought that perhaps Nerium was getting lonely, heck maybe even bored. He was the only Pokemon that Crystal has, except for Chief, she supposed. That mischievous troublemaker was always up to no good. Always off with his other friends. She's glad, of course, that Nerium at least gets along with him but he is definitely not a good influence…

 

She entered the building, looking around before a staff member walked up to her with a bright smile.

 

"Hi! Welcome to the adoption center! Are you here to adopt?" They asked and the dragonkin smiled as she nodded.

 

"Oh, yes." She smiled.

 

"Well, if that's the case, feel free to look around! Some of these mons are a bit temperamental but I hope you don't mind! Some of them were just dropped off or left behind by their trainers." They said before the other nodded.

 

"I'll keep that in mind, thank you." Crystal smiled and walked off, eventually finding an Electrike sitting off by itself. She tilted her head and approached the Pokemon.

 

The little canine-dragon stood at attention and immediately growled as she approached.

 

"It's alright, little one. I'm not here to hurt you." Crystal whispered as she slowed her pace before she stopped, a few feet away from it before she sat down, tail wrapped around her.

 

The Electrike growled again and the dragon gently smiled.

 

"You're cautious. That's a good trait, I suppose." She muttered as she reached her hand out, fingers outstretched to show the Pokemon that she had nothing on her.

 

The Electrike seemed to squint as it slowly neared her, sniffing her fingers.

 

Nothing happened after a few moments as it continued sniffing before it finally decided that there was indeed nothing.

 

Its form slowly relaxed and a chuckle came out of Crystal's throat and she tilted her head to the side.

 

"See? I told you I don't mean any harm." She smiled and paused for a moment. "Actually, how would you like to come home with me?"
