"That's at least bazillion feet up or something!" The blue-hided shifter mused loudly. "Tell me one reason that thing would have to come to us, instead of the other way around." Chelsea gestured at the Crystal Wyrm with her arm.

It soared through the clouds like what they were in their very existence - water vapor. The dragon seemed distant, its fluently moving outline slightly blurry, and the colors of its hide blending into the atmosphere around it. Yet, at the same time, its figure looked like it was big enough, that it could've smothered the Starsong Mountains with its humongous body if it ever chose to.

Caspian tossed the crystallized blade up repeatedly with one hand. He let out an animalistic huff through his nose, fine crystal powder shimmering in the air as it was pushed around by the hot carbon dioxide. He scraped his upper lip with one of his lower canines. "I think I've got something."

"And what's that?"

Before Chelsea got the opportunity to question the self-proclaimed king any more, the man pulled his arm back. A hybrid of a roar and a growl sprung out from between his teeth as he hurled his arm forward in an upward angle.

Chelsea followed the blood-made dagger with her eyes for a bit, until the weapon disappeared into Lyra's hazy air and sky. She turned to Caspian. Her half-closed eyes told tales of unimpressedness. "That's never going to hit."

Caspian lifted his hand. "Wait for it."

The woman nearly spun around, and let out a frustrated groan. "You can't seriously assume that-"

"Shh!" Caspian dashed towards her, grabbed her upper arm with one hand, and covered her mouth with the other. Chelsea's whole body stiffened in terror. It was more of an instinct, than anything else - but it didn't make it an unreasonable reaction.

It was this very man that had forced her to kneel before him - to swear loyalty, or lose her head like the ones that fell before her. It didn't matter how close they became. He would always have the power of death over her - her, and everyone else that served him as means for survival.

A deliciously satisfying, high-pitched tink pierced the air like a carefully whetted iron arrow. In the trail of its echo, burgeoned a horribly vexed roar of an untamed beast. Chelsea squirmed herself free from Caspian's grip, and dusted her clothes before turning back to him.

"As if a small toothpick like that would do anything," she argued, but only got a nonchalant gesture as a response. Chelsea turned to where the Crowned Athos pointed - only to see the crystal-coated serpent beelining straight towards them.
