Chapter 1: 001 - Bone Giant - ( Prompt 4 - Giant Construct)

Chapter 1 - (Prompt 4 - Giant Construct) - "Com git som!"

Dalv darted between the crystals as the roar of the Wyrm bellowed overhead. His eyes kept alert for any sign of movement whether it was it’s shadow or any of the reflections of the crystals. Were it not for the Goliath above him, he would have admired the serene, iridescent vista. So many colours and sheens, all brilliantly reflecting off one another to create an intricate rainbow of hues.

Another roar boomed above him. Dalv ducked on instinct as the ground once again rumbled. He could feel it. Beneath him, the victims of this beautiful death trap. It would take all his effort but it was better a construct than himself.

Focusing, he reached down, feeling the earth through his feet, his sense spreading like tree roots through the crystal floor. Reaching out for his target. Bones.

The earth rumbled, breaking in places as crystals shattered like glass. Skeletal beings rose, charging, without hesitation into a pile with one another. Dozens of skeletons dived upon one another, adding to the mass. The growing mound crawled as it reassembled itself, Dalv felt a pounding in his head and an ache in his body as his element drained him.

The form took shape, standing tall, taking on more detailed features by the second. At the tip was a empty space, and a floating deer skull that hung over what was now a giant, intermeshed skeleton.

A voice radiated from the skull at the tip - Dalv’s familiar, Lossar. The skull dead-eyed (heh) the Wyrm as it returned the venomous look, daring a challenge.

β€œAll roit! Yer Cystral Begga? Come git som!”
