Chapter 6: give a cat some chaos magic... (divider by pumpkincatcarnival)
The sea of Kahari was a beautiful sight.
“I should take my friends here…” Groff said, watching as the stars rippled under his paws.
He walked, casually, looking up at the sky full of stars and the sea reflecting them below.
Nothing could go wro-
Groff slipped.
Falling into the sea, images of his clowder and Nora flashed through his mind.
But one thought spoke before all fell to black…
… Isn’t this sea… known for being shallow? What’s going on?
Near a pond nearby the town, a chocolate colored cat washes up, and awakens, blinking his brown eyes and coughing up small bits of water.
Strangely enough, despite the water in his chest, he still can breathe.
“I…” The cat does not remember anything, at least not now. “I’m…”
Groff! A frog ribbits strangely.
“Groff!” The cat’s ear twitches. “I’m Groff!” Groff looks around the place. “... And I don’t know who I am or how I ended up here!” Groff swiped at the air, causing a tear in reality. “Sick! I have chaos magic!” Groff then ran off and started making the clouds rain chocolate milk.
“HEY! THIS CAT JUST INVERTED MY MELONS!”
“WELL HE JUST TURNED MY CHICKEN INTO ROAST TURKEY!”“THIS CAT WITH A TURKEY IN HIS MOUTH IS CURRENTLY MAGICALLY PAINTING MY HOUSE TO LOOK LIKE THAT OTHER CAT, YEAH THE TORTICO”
Groff didn’t know any toricos, so he chalked that last bit off to a coincidence.
“GET BROKEN MIRRORED!” A girl shoved a broken mirror in his face, stripping him of his chaos magic but restoring his memories.
“Huh!” Groff said. “I have a life! And friends! Seeya!” Groff then went and walked off, back to the paperverse.
“Where’s the chaos cat?” Chip ran in too late. “Hey, why does your house look like me?”
