Favorite Item

Apple is a forest spirit. A lazy one that is. Her favorite item is a pillow. Now you ask, if she is lazy, how come she have the motivation to walk while carrying a pillow along with her? Wrong, she is too lazy to walk on her own, that’s why she summons tree monsters to carry her, and most of the time she is on her bed with her pillow. She is a growing girl after all that’s why she needs to sleep 23 hours a day. That being said, Apple is not someone who will go to great lengths to protect her pillow. For example, even if you steal her pillow while she is sleeping, even if you noticed she don’t have her pillow any more, she will still prioritize her sleep. Too bad sleep is not an item so she can’t put sleep as her favorite.

Her pillow is made from the leaves of medicinal plants that is used to create sleeping medicines. She says that it helps to keep her reach her 23 hours a day minimum requirement of sleep. So as stated before about stealing, it’s most likely that everyone who steal her pillow will fall a sleep after a few steps away.

Does her pillow have any sentimental value on it? Of course, it does, it always by her side like a good friend. It just that, even if its her real friends, she still won’t do anything to save them in times of danger, she is actually slightly inclined on helping her pillow in case someone abducted it. She doesn’t even have the energy to stand up on her own so why should she help someone else? Actually, she can stand up on her own if its really really needed, just no motivation to do it so.

What will happen when her pillow falls off her bed you may ask. Its simple, she is a forest spirit that specialize at summoning tree monsters. Of course, there is always a tree at her side to protect her, and of course to pick up her fallen pillow. It protects her pillow like its life depends on it. Of course, it also protects her. All of her daily actions are assisted by tree monsters. That’s why she prioritizes having this ability, to keep being lazy.

Does the tree monsters ever rebelled or felt jealous with her pillow? Tree monsters never rebelled. They are as loyal as a believer worshiping their god. At the same time, they don’t feel jealous with the pillow, just pity. Apple’s pillow actually has one more function aside from helping Apple fall asleep, and that is as Apple’s stress releasing punching bag. The pillow is actually thorned apart many times. Not from battle but from her master’s own hands when she is disturbed from her sleep. The tree monsters just watch the scene thankfully thinking that its not them being torn apart. The only thing they can do for it is to fix it later when their master start feeling sleepy again… so that there master will have another thing to destroy when she is disturbed with her sleep.
