A Book for Marigold: The Incantation - God Spawn Battle

Marigold takes a deep breath. She had everything she needed; The blood, the sigil, and the incantation. All she needed to do was recite it. She stood before the God Spawn, her dress blowing around her as a dramatic wind swept the space. She opened her lips and began to recite.

 

“Return to thy plain evil one.

Thou belongs not hither.

To save our daughters and our sons.

We shall cause thee to wither.

 

Darken our existence no moe.

Forbear thy mind breaking ways.

I shall push thou through the door.

And there forever thou shall stay.

 

With thy sigil and thy blood.

With words that cut and tear.

I banish thou forever moe.

And force thou to succumb.”

 

The words spilled from her mouth, carried by the wind. She hoped that this was enough to send the God Spawn back from where it came. The sky turned a sickly combination of purple and green, yellow streaks crackling through the strange clouds. Please let this works, she prays
