I saw you standing there,
With a smile upon your face,
I looked into your eyes,
And saw memories I could not erase,
I only gave you a passing glance,
A short stare into your eyes,
Because if I looked any longer,
Id be trapped within a lie,
So dearly I wanted to hold you,
And tell you that Im here,
But mai heart held me back,
And told me not to go near,
Mai heart told me it was too late,
And that you had gone away,
You were never meant to be held by me,
And that you were never supposed to stay,
So I go on walking towards the sunset,
I thank you for being so kind,
Im lost to you forever,
But you will alwaise be on mai mind.
