desires of my heart: Chapter 1

There are alot of things I desire in my life. One major desire is to be a soldier , a defender of freedom and all that is good. The other thing I desire at this moment is you. I remember when I first laid eyes on you. I swear you were so beautiful and you still are. But the main reason I fell for you was, because i sensed something about you, something peaceful. I could see it when I looked into your eyes. You know, sometimes at night after I say my prayers I think about you and what it would be like to be with you, what it would be like to hold you in my arms when you are in need of comfort, I think about what it would be like to feel the soft touch of your lips against mine, and I even think about what it would be like to hold your hand in the hallways at school as we walk to class. I know you probably dont feel the same about me and im ok with it if you dont. Im glad that we're at least friends. Mallory the reason im telling you this is because my future is hiting me fast and Before you know it i'll be graduated and probably sent to active duty. I dont want to die or never see you again without telling you the truth. If I keep this from you I will regret it in the future. You are like no other girl i met you are so kind and sweat and I look up to you. So for what its wourth I will always think about, especilly in the frontlines, and I will never forget how you make my day 100 times better just by treating me with respect and hearing your beautiful voice. I will never forget that voice. I will never forget you Mallory. I love you.
