Darkness: Chapter 1

Alone I sit in the dark,
waiting for light to be shed,
upon my grieving soul

I cry out but no one comes
I ask for help but no one gives it
It's like nobody cares

I feel hopeless,
I feel depressed,
Yet i keep it all hidden within my very being

I want it all to stop
Someone to take the pain away
Banish it from my heart

I've been cursed
With Sadness, angst, and fear
I need help

Yet I'm stuck
With nothing
But Darkness
