Chapter 1: Chapter 1

A falling star in the sky,
like a tear from your eye,
it shatters the serene image,
of night's starry sky.

Cold water seeps from your hair,
and slowly advances down your chest,
as the dark waters stand still,
and waits.

Troubling happenings,
and dark shaded dreams,
has directed you here,
at the edge of the world.

Stones below your feet speaks silently,
passing the word of Mother Earth,
through the insanity,
you hear them.

Below northern starlight sky,
you smell the salty ocean,
and the conifer trees,
as a familiar scent,
like a hazy mist,
emits from the forest of old.

Trampling down the vegetation,
you arrive to the small meadow,
covered with juniper trees,
several hundred of years old.

On the soft moss,
shining so bright,
is a white pearl,
which is calling out for you.

Kneeling down,
you pick the pearl up,
carefully with both of your hands,
between your palms.

Looking deeply into it,
you see,
your hopes,
your dreams,
you understand,
and you scream.

Silver tears drip down to the soft moss,
and the pillar of light,
which ascend to the stars,
emit's from the pearl.

Darkness surrounds,
and the weight of the sins,
press your shoulders towards the ground,
as you cry out in shame.

In the dark,
a lonely pillar of light,
the feeble hope,
like a melting snow.

What are you,
but a single dove,
with broken wings,
against the blackness?

In the dark,
a lonely soul is lying on the moss,
with pure white wings spread from her back,
torn,
like a dream of freedom,
and the red blood,
that seeps,
innocense no more.
