Your eyes have been staring at me for years
And yet I have never noticed them

Before this moment I doubt I could have told you the color
Now I know how blue they really are

Your eyes are so expressive
And yet i have never learned to read them

Staring into them now, I am not sure,
How to say what I feel for you

You watched me with your eyes
And took in things I would not even speak of

I don't know if your eyes will ever see
these things i have written about you

But your eyes are so perceptive
You already know what i can not say

And that is that I love you
