Good Enough: Chapter 1

Good Enough

Everyone who has had their chunin exams & passed all went to a Tranquil place for all to relax & have a good time for 2 weeks before their next exams. It's kind of like spring break only difference is there's only spas and pools and a lot of healthy foods for all to consume & keep the bodies slowing down.. there is some sake.. but meh.. Both Purvey Sage and Kakashi monitor it so that uhh nothing gets out of hand..

Neji tries to get back with Danya.. but the other girl he was with is ruining the situation :roll: ohh boy.. Ken as usual trying to score a few girls.. & fails, Tausha, Kira, Mana and Dawn are in deep conversation about the exams & then the issues of boys.. poor Kira.. she just cannot give the time to a guy ( Know any that would pair up with her?)

Here goes.......

"Alright.. you guys as if anyone didn't know.. I'm staying clear away from both Neji & Danya.. only because well.. *Sigh*I only hope that both Neji would just stop being such a pupas ass to Danya and just resized what he did to Danya was wrong.. getting over the past & just get back together.. that is with out the intrusion of the girl Neji WAS seeing" said Tausha who was pissed of at Neji more but also wished the best for Danya.

"Well, while all of that is going on.. what's going to happen to Kankuro? I mean he got her a bracelet & of all things a cute kitty charm... Who would go out with him now?" asked Kira.

"Well.. your single why not ask or just go with him Kira?" said Mana who started to laugh. "ohh no way.. I wouldn't have the time for him.. OMG that's horrible.. but it is true.. I'm too focused on the exams that will be coming up." said Kira only to politely say that he wasn't her type.

"How can you all focus on these boys.. when there's another exam coming up. Further more. how can you keep your mind intact when you have some boy constantly swimming in your mind?" asked Dawn growing impatient of the conversation throwing the hot face cloth on her face.

Tausha, Mana and Kira just about fainted when they saw a tall tanned guy with dark red hair walking over. "I wanted to know if I can join you in here, uhh mainly to get away from Ken chatter mouth there wouldn't shut up, if not that's ok. asked Vince.

Mana spoke out first to allow him to join in. "Ack! Mana! yelled Kira. "what? he's kewl.. he's nothing like Ken over there anyways." replied Mana. "I don't mind myself.. I uhh am worried of what Gaara might do.. I hope he wont.." Tausha fighting with her fingernails. "OMG, as if he's never seem titties, cunnies and asses before.. sheesh! Besides.. Gaara will not even bother us. Vince noticed what Dawn was trying to do and asked: "Are you telecommunicating to Gaara right now D..A..W..N?"

Dawn removes the cloth off her face: "No, (dawn looks over at Tausha) would you want me to do that?" asked Dawn Tausha blushed: "Uhh .. I umm.. Hey.. you can do that?" asked Tausha. Dawn nodding her head. All looked to see the crying girl running away. "Drama, Drama, Drama. Good riddance to her! She's such am EMO!" said Dawn.

Tausha was about to wonder if her hopes for her friend came true when Gaara knelt right behind her. "Don't worry, she's gone. As far as Danya and Neji.. well things are in order." said Gaara. Tausha smiled & was so happy he was there. Gaara had something in his hand but it wasn't for Tausha. "Dawn... (Gaara opens up his hand and hand her the kitty charm bracelet) You can have this." Dawn took the charm and studied it.. and realized and can feel Kankuro's emotions through it. Before she even spoke, Gaara told her that he need to speak to her for a moment about something.

Dawn grabbed her towel and got out of the hot springs. Vince spoke up about the food that would be served in another hour and that it's best they all got out to get a head start before the others pig out on it all. Mana had a slight crush on Vince but kept herself sigh lent about it. Tausha and Kira also began to get their towels & out of the hot springs. Tausha looked back but didn't see Gaara & Dawn. She wanted to know what he had to say to her.

On the other side of the courtyard, Dawn had already changed into her clothes and Gaara talked to Dawn about a few things, then came the subject about his brother Kankuro. Tausha was off the side overhearing the conversation that was going on.

"I cannot go with him... as much as I would with another guy.. but Gaara you know dam well what happened & what I did to the one I was last with.. Remember!" said Dawn panicked and not willing to go through a relationship. "I know, and I was there, besides that wasn't you then that did that. The people from the Sound Village are the ones that provoked the Dark spirit in you and caused all the chaos.

Besides.. I.. I'm worried about you." said Gaara. Dawn looked puzzled. "Wha? Worried about me? Why? asked Dawn. Gaara was hesitant to say but he had to. "There are two other guys out there.. after you, one wants to use you to gain your powers & abilities the other just want to possess you. I don't want to see that happen. I need you to be with Kankuro, besides.. Kankuro.." Gaara was cut off. " I know what happened to him.. I can feel the emotions from this charm you gave me." Said Dawn only to sigh. "I suppose you want me to go & see him." asked Dawn. Gaara nodded his head, and Dawn made her way to go & see Kankuro.

Tausha began to walk away from her hiding spot but stopped to see that Gaara disappeared. A hand reached out and toughed her shoulder, Tausha turned around only to see Gaara. " You know.. snooping around is bad Tausha." said Gaara " I know.. but I wondered what it was that you had to talk to Dawn about, BTW.. what did she mean when she said that she wasn't ready for a relationship & that the last time she killed or accidentally killed someone." asked Tausha.

"Gaara.. it's a long story, and not something I should be repeating. That would be up to Dawn.. that is IF she wants to open up to tell what happened." said Gaara. "Ohh.. I get it.. now I'm starting to understand what others are saying. (Gaara looks at Tausha puzzled) You and her are alike.. I mean in a way, similar pasts, troubles, trusts, etc. BTW.. about you letting Dawn go & see Kankuro I think that is good." said Tausha."

"Not to just see him Tausha." said Gaara. Tausha looked up at him eyebrow raised up. "You want Kankuro to be with Dawn? So soon after what took place moments ago with Danya & Neji? asked Tausha slightly confused. "She knows how to calm down troubled minds, but also to have Kankuro to do his part of keeping Dawn near his side.. there are two other guys out there that will use her & hurt her. I will not allow that, I held a responsibility from her older Brother's request. He knew more about what might happen to her. I'm trying to avoid it." said Gaara thinking to himself that he might fail.

Tausha held on Gaara's hand. "You look after Dawn as if she was your baby sister. Come.. my turn to ease our mind Gaara. Lets go eat...before the others pig out on the good food." said Tausha.

Dawn pulled out her jacket from her pouch. And she draped it around herself. "Oh that is much better, so I guess we all have to find out who this Other Guy is." said Dawn. Both noticed movement in the brush, out popped Ken. Ohh crap here we go... "Hey someone mention to know the other guy.. why that would be me.. so how about it.. would you like to .." Kankuro interrupted Ken. "She wasn't talking about you, so but out & get the hell out of my site KEN!" Kankuro just wanted to slam Ken right in the face.

"Ohh poor Kankuro, or shall I say Pussy. *laughing* Your ass was dumped by Danya. You will always be a looser.. Looser. *laughing*" Ken finishing off laughing only to have it all stopped when someone grabbed him by the crotch.. Uhh Outch! "Looser..Looser.. Ye..Ooow!" scratched Ken in pain. "Leave now before I end up castrating you right here on the spot.. FYI.. Your the *Dawn twists her wrist more, causing more pain to Ken* Looser here; You cannot even GET the Girl.. let alone score with one." with that said Dawn released her grip, and Ken goes running off in searing pain. Dawn washed her hand in the creek.

Kankuro watched as Dawn washed her hands. "Oh dammit.. the idiot even pissed himself.. next form of sanitation.." said Dawn as she started a small blue-ish hue fireball in her hand and started to claps her hands together but there was a strange reaction.. Friction struck and made her one hand black a small soot mark, and made her hair stand out. "Uh.. Meoooow... what the hell was that? Hell this is new" said Dawn only to notice laughter be hinder her.

Kankuro couldn't help it.. he held his laughter as much as he could but Dawn's hair was standing out looking like the Purvey Sage. "What was it that you were trying to do in the first place?" asked Kankuro still trying to hold in his laughter. "Simple.. or I though to completely disinfect my hands.. low & behold this happened.. K-erzap.. am I talking with smoke coming out of my mouth?" asked Dawn waving her hand to pass the smoke away from her. Kankuro laughed. "Look at your reflection." said Kankuro unknowing if Dawn was going to kick his ass or not. Dawn looks at the creek for the reflection, and flipped out. "OMFG! I look like Purvey Sage!" dawn freaked out and started to tries to throw water on her hair, instead she shocks herself even more. "Gah!" screams from Dawn left her to fall on her back. "Ok, about someone wanting my so-called powers.. by all means take it!"

Alright.. don't mind me.. I'm munching on Jr. Mints.. Ohh Yummi I'll continue this FF after I'm finishing, I hope of my Drawing of both Kankuro & Dawn pic :D Lemmi know what you think :D

Kankuro got up to help Dawn back up, he stood over her and offered his hand to assist her off the ground. “Uhh.. I dunno.. I really don't want to zap you like I did to myself.. Twice already today.” Said Dawn worried that Kankuro too will be zapped. “Just grab onto my hand, beside won't know until we find out” asked Kankuro fidgeting his fingers to Dawn.

She raised her right arm out her hand now clasping with his. :phew: Nothing happened, Dawn was relieved as Kankuro helped her up to her feet. “See nothing happened.” Kankuro looking at Dawn, until another zap came by. Dawn looked where the zap went to; she had set a tree on fire. “Oh no! This is so not happening to me.” Said Dawn now pissed off what she did, and it wasn't even intentionally.

Sand started to pour over the tree.. drowning the fire in its place. Before both could figure out who did that, Gaara came through the clearing. “I was beginning to wonder what was going on over hear. I saw the lightening, and fire from a distance. Since when are you able to set things on fire & lightening strikes Dawn?” asked Gaara.

Dawn raised both of her hands, :shrug: then noticed her hair still frizzed out. She pulls it back quickly. Gaara noticed her hair, but respectfully held in his on coming laughter. “I really don't know, BTW about the two guys after my powers.. hell.. they can have it.. this is a joke!” said Dawn. “You've got to control these new abilities of yours, maybe Kakashi might help you out. And about your abilities & powers.. let no one have them.” Said Gaara.

“Gaara, what you saw is probably just someone in training, besides..” said Tausha but stopped only to notice Gaara was talking to both Kankuro & Dawn. “Oh, Sorry.” Continued Tausha. “Tausha.. is there anyway you can help me with my hair?” asked Dawn. Tausha looked at Dawn puzzled. “Uh sure, why it was fine earlier.. what happened?” Dawn took a big sigh and removed her hand from her hair. Dawn's hair puffed out, you could almost hear a spring sound as sound effects.

“This is what happened” said Dawn. Tausha started to laugh, but Tausha tried so hard not to laugh too hard, Dawn rolled her eyes. Tausha walked up to Dawn and touched her hair.. where instantly Tausha smoothed out the major Frizz that was going on. “Oh thanks Tausha, man this is so much better now, you have no idea what kind of mess I put my ass into today” said Dawn. “Well, your powers over took you putting your ass on the ground.” Said Kankuro chuckling. Dawn gave a sneering look to Kankuro. “I see that the sparks have already begun to fly here, well see you around later.” Said Gaara as he took Tausha's hand to follow with him.

“Sparks?” said Kankuro looking confused. “Sparks flying? What? There's a point that I'm missing something here.” Said Dawn just before she pondered what the hell he meant it hit her. Dawn's Thoughts irrupted: *Huh? That Baka! He's wanting me to hook up with his brother! Dammit doesn't he even remember what happened in the past?? *Sigh* End of Dawn's thoughts.

“Something troubling your mind Dawn?” asked Kankuro. Dawn really felt out of place and it would be highly rude of her if she just took off right now, especially when she first asked Kankuro how he was doing now that Danya & Neji are back together again. “Actually, there is but you don't have to answer.” Said Dawn wondering how this would all end up. “What is it?” asked Kankuro.

“I really hate to get into other people's business, but it does tend to bug me; I'm wondering why in the world would someone go out while in the end that same person moves back to be with the one they were with before? BTW, let me know if I've gone too far Kankuro.” Asked Dawn wondering what she said hurt him or not. ”Oh, you mean Danya and Neji? *Sighs* I knew something was up & would eventually not work out.” Said Kankuro.

“But.. *Dawn lifts up her left arm* But you gave her this, she didn't even want it? Asked Dawn. “It wasn't like that, it was more of Neji's idea that she should give me back the charm bracelet back to me.” Said Kankuro now beginning to wonder why Dawn would ask or care anything about him. “Why do you ask.. I mean.. Ok that was a lame of me to ask, uhh making correction here; Have you been in that position before, where some one just used you as a substitute?” asked Kankuro. Dawn shook her head.

“No, but my Older brother has; his wife of I dunno 10 years just took off leaving him and his two boys. She ran off to be with some idiot that shows nothing. Jason.. my brother feels horrible only because he has to raise his boys by himself, and really has no idea what to say to his boys of why their mommy left him & them. I cannot jump in there to say what she really turned out to be.. they are 4 years old they still wouldn't understand.” Said Dawn.

“Your brother… Jason, what is he doing now, I mean is he going out to find someone else? Or is he too busy working & supporting his boys?” asked Kankuro. “He's doing too much, the boys at least do not have a grudge against their father. So there's one good thing, the bad thing for Jason is to try to trust & love again. That is why I don't want to see him going though relationships and ending the way it did for you.” Said Dawn, while Kankuro was taken back form what Dawn said.

“So, you have never been out with anyone… ever? There had to be someone out there that had at least went out with you, like your friends? Kira & Vince?” asked Kankuro. Dawn only shook her head. “Nope, nada…I have major issues trusting someone is one thing.. love to me.. I think is a sick joke.. Poison to people, an illusion to assume that love is suppose to be happy with a happy ending.

But it isn't.. at least not in my world.” Said Dawn looking down. Kankuro didn't understand why or what she meant, only to notice that she & Gaara are the same, the only difference is that Gaara IS with someone & Loves Tausha. “You and Gaara are a lot alike; mainly of what the people, and some in your family has done to you.” Said Kankuro. “Gaara is different than me, besides I have TWO Dragon spirits in me, seriously who in the hell would want to even start going out with a freak like me.

Not even knowing how long I can control this Myrith's Wrath.” Said Dawn. “Myrith's Wrath?” asked Kankuro, Dawn informed to him that is was a Dark Dragon Spirit, it is a very scary looking dragon, and once it starts to fly things are not good. “What is this other Dragon.. another bad one?” asked Kankuro. “No, the other one IS good.. it the Sojoi's Light; that one is the White & Pure Dragon.

Meaning everything from good luck to rebirths, and healing abilities. Basically what the elder man said a long time ago when I was 4 years old the man told me that both of my Dragon spirits are a part of the Ying & Yang, taking part of 4 different elements each.. making that 8. See.. too difficult to comprehend isn't it?” asked Dawn sounding like a lecture teacher to Kankuro.

“No, you don't but 4 I mean 8 elements. Wow..now I'm curious to know what they all are & which ones have them.” Asked Kankuro.

“The Dark one's elements are: Lightening, Fire, Earth, and Iron; The White one's elements are: Ice, Water, Wind, and Light. Oh, before you ask me for anything else, can we go somewhere else so that I'm not smelling charred bark & leaves?” Said Dawn. “oh yea.. sure come on. I know of a place, and so too boring like this place here.” Said Kankuro. “You.. you've been here before?” asked Dawn as they both head off in another direction. “Sure, I've been here a few times, and yes their selection of foods still has not changed.” Said Kankuro.

They both stop at the waterfalls. “It's kind of loud here.” Said Dawn. “I know, but there is a place only a few dare to even notice what's behind the water fall.” Said Kankuro. Both walk along side on narrow rocks and bamboo stumps leading the way to the water falls corner getting them selves wet slightly from the water. Kankuro grabbed onto the rope off the edge of the inner waterfall walls and helped Dawn to the rope.

They pass through a narrow cave, until moments later, of all the twists and turns in the waterfall cave they come into view a small clearing of just tall grass, a few assorted flowers and sakura trees. “Now this is the place where I hang out or mainly to get away from it all. It sets my mind as ease.” Said Kankuro. It felt warm, Dawn took off her trench coat, and her wooden sandals. She loved the way in which the grass tickled her feet. “Oh I can sleep here. No more snoring roommates, and gossips going on while trying to sleep.” Said Dawn as she sat down grabbing her jacket folding it up to make a pillow setting it down and she laid down.

Kankuro sat down next to Dawn. “Yep, no one is really aware that this place is really here. But, as far as to sleep here.. I have. I had my share of roommates that literally were pigs, and besides the snoring.. OMFG.. it would smell horrible! I mean there would be like an orchestra going on.. someone's ass would be sounding off while another letting it all rip loud. I had enough of that mess Oi! So I came here, & been doing this for a while now.” Said Kankuro. Dawn laughed. “That is so sick.. * laughing * Oh.. now I don't remember where we left off before we came here.” Asked Dawn. Kankuro scratching his head..

I think I remember. You pretty much said what powers & elements of your Dragon Spirits.. Hmm. Oh I think last conversation ended up something to do with Danya & Neji.. “ said Kankuro. “Oh yea.. well.. I guess Danya is happy to be with Neji, Tausha was glad things worked out for Danya.. BUT then she began to worry about you then felt very bad after that. All of that conversation going on then hearing the news from Vince, I guess I wasn't having a good day or much sleep.. I only remember being an ass while trying to relax in the hot springs.” Said Dawn. Kankuro laid sideways while next to Dawn and began to ask: “What did you mean earlier about who would want to go out with a freak like me, was it from others telling you that when you were a kid or something?”

“It's complicated, there was someone that I liked, but was instantly shoved away because of what I was & what I had in me. A lot of others feared me, but then again they were also fears by Gaara too. So I dunno. I guess not having a supermodel of a face, btw I'll pass models are idiots & walking dead anyways. My eyes do not stay the same color, so maybe that. Funny.. for those wearing contacts, who the hell are they to talk when I was born with these.” Said Dawn now wondering what she just said made any sense to Kankuro. Dawn sat back up, for whatever the reason. Only to realize that her mind is playing tricks on here again.

“What is it?” asked Kankuro curious to know what it was that made her sit up so quickly. “Oh dammit.. my mind is playing tricks with me again. For a moment there I seriously though that I was going to fail my chunin exams only to realize that that was over & done with. Followed by the chores. I hate it when that happens.. it even does that while I'm trying to sleep, that is something I almost NEVER get.” Said Dawn. “Gaara has that same problem too, but I'm sure you knew that already. Let me guess, your head or your mind is so occupied with too much it's like sitting in major traffic.” Asked Kankuro. Dawn looked back at him, telling him that she never would have thought about it in that way yet it was very true.

“I was wondering, basically to what was true and not true; a few people warned a few including me about you an Mirrors. What the hell do they mean by that?” asked Kankuro wondering if this was a safe question or if he had just now pushed his luck. “I hate mirrors; what I see is disturbing. Even as a child I remembering throwing the handle mirror out of the hospital shattering it.” Said Dawn. “Shattering.. why were you in the hospital in the first place?” asked Kankuro wondering why as a child she hated mirrors in the first place. “My mother took my head and made me smash into the closet mirror, telling or asking me why couldn't have I died, and that if she had it her way she would have killed me sooner if it wasn't for my father. After that hospital.. I do not remember.” Said Dawn with distaste.

Kankuro really felt bad for Dawn, even as a child.. to go through all of that mess. He reached out with his hand to Dawn's face where she flinched, Kankuro did not see any scars. “I don't see any scars, besides the fact of what your mother did to you, why is it that you look in the mirror, do you see the same image repeating over & over?” asked Kankuro mainly to know what it is that makes Dawn turn or break the mirrors. “I don't see repeated images, I just see me, only every time I look in there.. it really doesn't look like me. My eyes are solid black, and I can see the Dark Dragon behind me in the mirror.” Said Dawn, Kankuro begins to notice that Dawn's eyes are changing colors from green to a dark green with yellow. However Dawn's expression on her face was still calm. Dawn began to wonder why he was just staring at her. “Oh no, my eyes are changing right now aren't they?” asked Dawn only to realize what a stupid question she just asked.

Kankuro continued to stare into Dawn's eyes, "Yeah, your eyes are changing but I don't see why you hate it so much, it's...beautiful."
Dawn stares at him almost shocked, "...What?"
"I think it's beautiful." Kankuro would pull his hand back and sit up staring straight ahead. "I've always thought you're beautiful Dawn. You're just so strong it's kind of intimidating."
"Intimidating?" Dawn half glares.
"You're definitely one of a kind, but I like that about you.” Kankuro's head falls a little depressed, "unfortunately I'm not very good with women. You're all pretty confusing.” He'd chuckle a little.
Dawn would lean forward, "Just because Danya hurt you, it doesn't mean all women will be like that Kankuro.
Kankuro looked at her puzzled until it came to him, "You shouldn't just peek in and out of my mind you know." He smirked.
Dawn smirked right back, "Well sometimes people are too stubborn to just talk about what's really bothering them, when talking about it actually helps make it better." She crossed her arms in front of her, "So sorry for Peeking into your mind, but to be honest the look on your face would have told me what you were thinking about anyways."
Kankuro smiled, "I guess you're right." He glanced at the charm bracelet he had given to Danya a while back, “Do you like that thing?” He pointed at it.
Dawn looked at it and smiled, “Of course I do, it's pretty cute. I have a weak spot for anything cat related.” She winked at him and instantly noticed the hint of a blush upon his cheeks.

Kankuro turned away to hide the tint of pink on his cheeks, “…Well you can keep the charm bracelet then, if you really want it.”

Dawn glanced at it again, “I was planning on keeping it weather you gave it to me or not.” She smirked.

Kankuro chuckled, “Oh, well I'm glad you like it.” His expression saddened again.

“Would you stop looking so depressed, normally it's me that feels that way.” Dawn lightly nudged him.

He forced smile and apologized, “I'm sorry, I don't mean to bring you down with me, you don't have to stay here just because Gaara asked you to, I'll understand if you wanna go.”

Dawn shoved him upside the head, “Don't say such a stupid thing! If I didn't want to be here I wouldn't have come in the first place, even if Gaara had asked me to.”

Kankuro rubbed the side of his head and stared at her, “…Owe?”

“You deserved that, how dare you try to get me to leave when you're so depressed.” She crossed her arms in front of her and looked away.

“I'm…sorry?” Kankuro stared at Dawn again and watched her turn around to glare at him.

Dawn covered his eyes with one hand, “Stop that… I am not hot when I'm pissed!”

Kankuro laughed while he was blinded, “Then stop reading my mind!”

“I'll read your mind if I want!”

“Then I'll think whatever I want!”

Dawn removed her hand and smirked, “At least you're really smiling now.”

Kankuro let out a breath and leaned back to lay on the ground, “Yeah, you're actually making me happy.”

Dawn chuckled and shifted a little as she turned her body and leaned back, resting her head on Kankuro's stomach, she felt his body get tense for a moment then slowly he started to breath again. She smiled, “Kankuro, am I making you nervous?”

Kankuro's eye's widened for a moment then he looked down at her, “No, you surprised me, that's all.”

“Well, sorry I just would rather rest on you than on the hard ground.” She slowly started to sit up. “But if you don't want me to then….”

“No. I didn't say that, you can stay there if you want.” Kankuro quickly spoke up.

She smiled brightly at him and slowly laid back against him, she started up at him, “You know, Danya was a fool to chose Neji over you. You're a really great guy Kankuro.”

Kankuro's heart seemed to skip a beat when she said that, he stared down at her and slowly lifted his hand to fun his fingers through her hair. His heart was racing; completely afraid he'd meet with rejection from Dawn. But to his surprise he saw the smile on her face stay, she didn't pull away from him at all. He let out a sigh of relief, “Thank you Dawn.”

Kankuro woke up the next morning, still half asleep he noticed something was in front of him. He adjusted his eyes more and saw long hair, and his arm was around someone. Before he started to freak out he remembered last night he was with Dawn. It was rather chilly out this morning even Kankuro was slightly shivering.

Kankuro went to search to see where Dawn's face was; she faced away. Or in front of him. Oh boy, just thinking about it made Kankuro a bit more nervous as he placed his right hand on Dawn's hair, carefully not to disturb her so that he can move her hair out of the way. He was stunned to see that she was facing him. He chucked in his mind, he admired Dawn how the way she was sleeping, and she was curled up like a cat, her hands curled up against her chest. Indicating that it WAS cold for her. Kankuro brushed more of Dawn's hair away from her face, finally Dawn's hair was out of her face so that he can now see her face.

Kankuro rested his right hand lightly on Dawn's sleepy face; his thumb brushing lightly on her pouty lips. He noticed them soft, not even dry or chapped lips. The surrounding the two were in was so serene; birds chirping & singing, and the sound of the leaves from the trees around them made a peaceful sound. And the Squires up in the tree scattering themselves from branch to branch squeaking & chirping noses to one another.

Kankuro took the chance into making his move on Dawn, yet hoping he doesn't get his lights punched out of him. :rofl: He carefully lowers his face to Dawn's, but instead.. he decided not to make the first move on Dawn.. Just yet. To him it just was too early for that. Dawn felt Kankuro's presence & noticed he WAS going to do something, but backed away.

She slowly woke up and looked at Kankuro as she felt his hand started to move away from her face. She felt rejected. “Kankuro…* Dawn reaches out with her left hand to catch his falling right hand holding on * What's wrong?” asked Dawn. Kankuro had no idea what to say really and had to be careful of not letting her read his mind. “I… I was going to wake you up, but I decided not to.” Said Kankuro even though Dawn knew he was lying to her or at least giving her a small excuse. “Liar, what is the real reason, I'm not going to read you mind. I did felt your presence as if you were going to so..Something, but you backed away.” Said Dawn starting to feel even more rejected.

Just before he was about to say anything, low & behold Ken was walking up to them. “Geeze Kankuro, you really suck at keeping women, let alone to come here a perfect place to make out here & STILL you did nothing. “ said the obnoxious Ken trying to create a scene & a fight. Kankuro so wanted to kick his ass; instead he remained calm. “As if you are one to talk, if I'm not mistaken.. you still haven't scored with any as in 0.. why that make you.. a looser Ken. FYI.. Apparently you didn't learn the first time you've butted in the conversation yesterday, Dawn end up nearly castrating you.” Said Kankuro feeling high on encouragement.

“Well, I must say that is true, but I do have to admit that Dawn made her move on me.. grabbing onto my crotch..” said ken with a big grin on his face. Dawn starting to get angry, but her eyes are showing more of that. Kankuro was pissed off. “Well, Ken.. * Ahem * Grabbing your so-called crotch.. there really wasn't much THERE to grab.. yet you were scared shitless and managed to piss yourself to a Bolivian. :giggle:s “ said Dawn as she also tried to control her oncoming anger. Kankuro began to get up & stand not too far from Ken. Now Kankuro was really starting to annoy the hell out of him.

“What the Fuck do you want Ken.” Said Kankuro trying to keep his cool. “Well.. nothing from you that's for sure. I'm here to ask Dawn out.. there's a party later on tonight and..” said Ken but was cut off. “Fuck no, as I would step foot & stoop to your level of ignorance & Immaturity Ken!” said Dawn. “Face it Ken, you loose.. bye-bye.” Said Kankuro with a hint of pure sarcasm. Dawn felt Kankuro's arm wrapped around her waist. She felt like she had no idea how move, so she just did the same what Kankuro did; she placed her arm around his waist. She didn't realized that Kankuro wore his pants baggy, loose & low. Kankuro was so fixed on Ken hoping that he would leave now; he didn't really notice that Dawn had wrapped her arm around his waist.

“What ever…” said Ken as he finally turned around and started to head out of their area, back into the village where everyone else are preparing for the party.

Kankuro relieved that Ken left Finally! He then took notice that Dawn had her arm wrapped around his waist. “You have no idea how hard it was for me to keep my anger under control, I was worried that Ken was going to set me off and to allow the Dark side of me to come out. Just what is it with him anyways?” Ohh skip it.. so not even worth it.

Well, now that his sorry ass is out of the way, Kankuro.. you still never told me the real reason why you backed away from me.” Asked Dawn. Kankuro still staring at the area making sure that Ken left & not hiding & being a snoop.

Kankuro had no idea what to really say his mind wasn't helping him either, he noticed Dawn doing something to her lip. “I.. was.. * Kankuro looks at Dawn * are you biting you lip Dawn?” asked Kankuro. Dawn felt horrified * OMFG * Dawn instantly turned away feeling embarrassed her bad habit has done it again. “OMFG.. Sorry.. It's a very bad habit of mine.” Said Dawn feeling horrified and started to slip her arm away from his waist.

Kankuro turned to face Dawn. He placed his left hand on her face to see her face, but she flinched, he leaned forward to her level. With his right hand he swept her long bangs away form her face and just went for it. He had finally made his move on Dawn; he had finally got the guts to do it. He kissed Dawn, and this caught her completely off guard. Now she was in a place & felt like a true idiot on what to do & how to over come it all. Apparently, Kankuro made another bold move by combining both his kisses & running his tongue along Dawn's lips. This was all too much & new to her, she let out a small moan. Kankuro moved his left hand where he took his thumb placed it on Dawn's lip encouraging her to follow and allow him to teach her his version of art of kissing.

Kankuro moved his right hand to assist Dawn's arm to wrap around his waist. Dawn did the same to her other arm, Kankuro moved in forward to Dawn. He placed his right hand around her tiny waist. Getting bolder as he was teaching Dawn his moves, he licked the bottom of her lip and nipped at it, causing Dawn to moan in a cute small tone.

Kankuro had to pause for a moment.. he had to at least allow Dawn to breathe :rofl: Dawn still in somewhat of a fixed trance of just what accrued. He then sat down where they once fell asleep, Dawn was about to sit next to him only to be stopped as Kankuro told her to sit on his lap facing him. Dawn wasn't sure if that would be a good idea or not.. or if it would seem comfortable for her weight to be sitting on his lap.

So, she lowers herself sitting on Kankuro's lap facing him; he helps Dawn wrapping her legs around his back making it more convenient & comfortable for her. Dawn had no idea what to say, or do. Kankuro was first to speak. “If I'm going to fast or rushing you in to all of this don't hesitate to stop me if you feel uneasy.” Said Kankuro his arms encircled around her waist.

Dawn had no idea what to think or say at the moment. She was beyond nervous, hell she felt like a bottle of nerves. “What else is there that you want to teach me?” asked Dawn unknowing if she asked the right question or not. Kankuro taken back a bit, so he asked her what it is she wants to learn from him. Dawn's only reply was to know what else was next that was her only reply. Kankuro asked Dawn to follow her inner instincts, and he would let her know further.

Dawn lost in though, wondered what in the world should she do now.. so she returned the favor by kissing Kankuro, and only hoped that she didn't screw it up. Placing her one right hand on Kankuro's face, she saw his expression as she moved in forward with a well-mannered kiss. Kankuro welcomed her as he moved his hands away from her waist cupping her face with both of his hands, only to mumble low to her “My Turn” to Dawn.

She had no idea what he meant until he started to move his mouth away from hers where he started to slide his left hand from her chin, to her shoulder as he began to suck onto her bottom lip, her chin, then taking his sweat time combining his kisses & nipping at her neckline. Kankuro moved his way back up on the other side of Dawn's neck. Dawn knew what Kankuro tried to do moments ago.. so she waited. Kankuro now back to kissing Dawn this time he wanted her to follow to what he was doing with out the assistance from his thumb. Dawn responded, while the same time unzipped her top at least half way.

Kankuro felt Dawn's clothing as if it became loose. He placed his left hand up on Dawn's face sweeping her hair & bangs away from her face while allowing his right hand to gently slide along her neck line, even slower as he reached lower to the middle of Dawn's chest. Kankuro moving is head to the other side just as he did that he slid his right hand glide down and found Dawn's nipple where she instantly gasped. Kankuro kneading her breast, causing Dawn to moan.

“Ugh…” came from Kankuro nearly ready to speak until he noticed that Dawn had already placed up her barrier. “Alright, now that's up.. tell me.” Asked Dawn looking more curious to know what Kankuro was hiding back. “My mind seems to have wondered off.. which question was it again.. I will answer.” Said Kankuro. “I said.. ( Dawn sneaks her hand through Kankuro's pants, she hide her shock when she noticed that he did wear any boxers at all! ) tell me what it was you were going to tell me.” Asked Dawn started to get a bit impatient.

Kankuro began to speak to her when he felt a tiny hand grabbing his hard shaft: “ Where I Fuck you!” said Kankuro. Dawn nearly laughed from his reaction; she thought it was cute & funny how he just said that. “Really? Hmm.. I though it was the other way.. or did you forget that one?” asked Dawn making Kankuro looking confused. “Other one? What other one? Maybe I did miss something.” Said Kankuro now wondering just what the hell did he forget?

“Hmm.. well wasn't there Oral involved?” asked Dawn. Kankuro felt like he wanted to knock himself out right now. * Oh No * “Oh yea.. * Chuckles * I did forget that one.. oops.. my bad. BUT! That will still lead into the part where I ..” before Kankuro could even finish Dawn did it for him: “Fuck Me.. Right? BTW what's this virgin thing your talking about.. is that something bad, as in not a good thing to have or what?” asked Dawn. (She never really had sexual education.. so yea.. she knows some from reading books & knows most of the other shit.. just not certain meanings or phrases.)

Kankuro told her what a virgin meant & how it is ok to still be one, and that there was nothing wrong with that; however he did tell her what happens when she looses her virginity & the possibility of pain she would encounter. This all didn't stop Dawn; she wanted Kankuro to do what he just said. Dawn then offered to ease his tension if she took off all of her clothes.

Ok at this point Kankuro's mind is screaming out as if there was a super bowl going on. Kankuro really wanted to uhh… fuck Dawn sure.. but his morals got in the way & had a lot of respect for Dawn. “I'm sorry, I have a better idea, and it's worth it; umm how about this; continue going out like we are now with little action, just so that later on when we go home for who knows how long.. we can Fuck.” Said Kankuro laughing, causing Dawn to laugh too. “ohh alright then, I guess we can wait, but you will show me what you know and all right?” asked Dawn as she raised herself up a little allowing to free Kankuro's middle finger from where it was. Kankuro letting her know that he will, as he began to kiss her again.

In the village where there's a party going on…

Everyone in the village was there having a great time. Some goofy games going on some winning some loosing. The party lasted for 6 hours, once it became dark the fireworks started going off.Ken tried with all of his might to score with a girl only to get rejected every time.

On the other side of the field near a pond, both Gaara & Tausha sat talking to each other while watching the fireworks. On the other side from the pond and more near the forest sat both Kankuro & Dawn both watching the fireworks going off. Together they are wearing different clothes than what they wore in the morning. It was very cold out and the possibility of rain clouds will be arriving less than 2 days form now if not sooner.

Kankuro's clothes are all in black, with some purple trim from his pants. His hair resting on his shoulders, he decided not to cut his hair for a while. He was looking for a different style, and so far he like this. Dawn was wearing dark burgundy pants, and a black top that barely covered her breasts. This of course was her idea, not just because she like it, but so that she could tease Kankuro too.

She had a thick sweatshirt on with a hoodie and was zipped up to her mid chest. Dawn noticed that Kankuro was in a trance while watching the fire works.. she loved how the way his blue eyes shined from the lighting from the fireworks in the darkened sky. She reached up with her right hand up to his face teasing him about he's in a trance. Kankuro blinked a few times then looked at Dawn.

He pulled her closer to him here he bent his head down and kissed her. Dawn placed her left arm inside of Kankuro's jacket resting it on his waist, while her right followed. After a few moments Dawn began to ask if it did rain sooner to be expected, she wondered if everyone would have to go back to their homes due to the fact that the sanctuary village that they were staying at didn't have anything that was covered.

The only covered areas where the villagers themselves and that was their homes. Kankuro wondered for a moment, and then told her that he wouldn't know until that actually happens. “You know; it would suck to be sleeping in bed along side with roommates and suddenly it rains. But I don't have to worry about that; I'm prepared in case that did happen.. That way I just grab my bag and go.” Said Kankuro laughing a bit thinking about the others scrabbling about trying to get their stuff. “You think we can stay at the same place where we slept this morning?” asked Dawn hinting to him that she wanted to sleep with him.

Out of the blue, Lee was standing right in front of the two couples. “Hey Kankuro, how about a round a.. * Lee noticed Kankuro was with a girl * Oh sorry I didn't know you had company.” Asked Lee while he was scratching his head. Dawn moved her head to see how it was that was talking. Lee was taken back he's never seen her before. “Hi there, I haven't seen you before.. well that is until now.” Said Lee chuckling.

Dawn introduced herself to Lee. Lee knelt down to their level and started to tell them a few things about the party. “Oh, I don't know If you were there in the beginning of this party or not. At first I though everyone was going to be stuck & start singing Kume-By_ya or something.” Said Lee making both Kankuro & Dawn laugh. “No, basically it looked boring from a distance for me. The fireworks on the other hand you can't complain.” Said Kankuro.

Lee brought up a few people that that was having a good time until he mentioned about Ken at his failed attempts. Scoring with yet another laugh from all of them. “Well, I'll let you guys continue here; I got to head back to the party.. apparently Neji got his ass too drunk and not all there in the head.. so yea for me.. another Drama moment.

I swear.. that guy; you hand him 2 sakes & he's a lush!” said Lee. The three of them start laughing until lee brought up the subject about that Danya is pissed off at Neji for trying to hit on two other girls. “Oh man.. talk about a looser while after just 2 dam sakes, he tried making a move on this pretty girl * thinks back to her name * Kira.. * Laughing * Phew that didn't work she knocked him upside his head.

The other girl I don't know who & wasn't there to see. BUT, he was near & half way about to score with the girl.. until Danya and Makoto walked in what was suppose to be a meditation area. BTW Vince was there, so he did the same thing I did; walked away from the Drama.” Said Lee. Causing both Kankuro & Dawn to tense up. Lee waved at the couple, and told them goodnight.

Kankuro stood up, Dawn feeling left out and wondered if he was going to start running off after Danya. She sat there and waited to see Kankuro's reaction. Kankuro realized that Dawn didn't stand up, then it dawned on him. * Idiot.. you stood up, now Dawn thinks your going to run after Danya! * He looked down to where Dawn still sat. She just stared at him.

Kankuro offered his hand to Dawn where she was hesitant of taking it. She finally placed her hand in to his and she got up standing a few inches form Kankuro. “I'm not going after Danya, I got up mainly because you mentioned about sleeping with me in the same spot where we first slept at.” Said Kankuro while pulling onto Dawn's arm to have her move forward to be near him.

“Why do I get the feeling that you want the both of us out of here, all due to the fact that she might be running after you for the so-called comfort.. using you again.” Said Dawn still felling 2nd place. Kankuro placed both of his hands on Dawn's face, while he moved forward telling her that he would rather be with her from the very beginning, instead of ever considering himself to be with Danya. Dawn wrapping her arms back inside of his sweat shirt/jacket and resting around his waist. She began to pull out his shirt that was tucked in out.

She felt around Kankuro's abs, she accidentally found a tender spot.. she tries again oh she has found a tickle spot in Kankuro. He flinches away from Dawn, she begins to laugh. Kankuro took it as a challenge, and started to go after Dawn. She starts running around half way around the tree they were at, Kankuro follows, cutting in between trying to catch Dawn mid stride. He almost catches her but instead she leaped into the tree. She gets down, but she didn't see where Kankuro was. Suddenly he was right behind her; grabbing her and then pinning her down to the ground, while it was his turn to tickle her.

Unaware that the couple are being watched from a distance, Danya in tears & trying to rub her face clearing the tears away from her face, she saw Kankuro with another girl.

Dawn regains her strength, and she pushes Kankuro off. He tried to snatch at Dawn but misses a few inches. They are now sitting on the ground only a few feet apart form each other. Kankuro lifting both of his arms half way and began to flex all of his fingers to Dawn informing to her to come to him. “Come.” Said Kankuro. “Make me come.” Said Dawn in a warped sense.

Kankuro was taken back. * What the.. she's no virgin in that tone nor acts like it. * Kankuro tilted his head slightly, while he moved fast with his arms grabbing onto Dawn's hips. Quickly he had her on top of his lap. Dawn gasped, Kankuro's hands moved from her waist to her ass. While he lifts his head up to Dawn kissing her and taunting her for what she did. “Now that I made you move, I wonder what I should do to you.” Said Kankuro teasing & taunting Dawn.

Dawn was about to say something but was caught off guard when Kankuro bucked up. Kankuro being his naughty self began asking what he should do to her. Dawn felt her inside turning inside & out. She had no idea what all of that was. Kankuro bucking up on her again. “what is it that you want to do to me Kankuro?” asked Dawn. Kankuro whispered into her ear what he had in mind.

Off the distance where Danya watched; at first she was sad that she wasn't there, but another thought came to mind that she was glad too see Kankuro with a girl, she just didn't know who it was. So she walks away heading to a pond not knowing that both Tausha & Gaara were there until she spotted them.

Tausha was first to notice her, and realized something was bothering her. “Danya? What's wrong did something happen?” asked Tausha as she ran up to Danya. Shaken but tried not to cried, but in the end she did so anyways. Tausha hugs her. “Oh Tausha, I have no idea what happened. I went looking for Neji but I couldn't find him, so Makoto and I went to look for him and he..” Danya starts to sob a little. “Oh Danya.” Said Tausha wondering what was going on. “We both found him with some other girl trying to make out with her but he was too drunk. He's not the type that would drink especially getting into situations like that.” Said Danya “So, I did a stupid thing assuming the worst, I left.” Continued Danya.

“Danya, I'm sure that wasn't him, by means of him doing all of that. Surely someone had to of slipped something into his drink.” Said Tausha. Gaara standing near by over hearing the conversation. “I went to look for Kankuro to say a few things to him, besides me of going back to Neji, I at least had to tell him sorry to lead him on; but I also wanted to just be there with him.” Said Danya as she began to wipe her tears away.

“But instead, I saw him with a girl. I don't know who. But in a way at first I felt left out. But again I do realize that seeing him & how much he was smiling & having so much fun with the girl he was with.. I didn't want to bother them.” Continued Danya.

Tausha began to smile. “Oh really. Wow, * Tausha looked at Gaara * They really clicked.” Said Tausha. Danya looked up at her friend confused. “Clicked? Who clicked? Kankuro & the girl?” asked Danya. Tausha looking back to her friend. “Yea. I mean Kankuro is going out with Dawn.” Said Tausha full of glee. “Dawn? I've never seen her with her hair down before. I thought she was the type that just wouldn't go out with any of the guys, let alone have time for them.” Said Danya.

Makoto ran to see Danya. “Hey.. Danya!” said Makoto running towards her with a cup in hand. Danya turned to see what he wanted & what he had. “Look!” said Makoto showing both Danya & Tausha an empty cup with something still inside. “I think someone slipped something into Neji's drink. I highly think someone was pissed off at Neji for something. There's some odd powdery substance still stuck on the rum of the cup here.” Said Makoto looking worried. Tausha tensed she could only think of one person in her mind, however Danya beat her to that. “TenTen! That BITCH!” said Danya.

Makoto began to worry what Danya would do, Tausha had a plan in mind on how to get back on what TenTen did to Neji. Gaara chuckles to himself on what they were talking about.

The Next Day…

Danya walked in the open field feeling ever so happy to what she & her friend did to TenTen. She started to laugh to herself of how TenTen reacted when she used her illusions on her. Danya headed to the waterfall thinking that she'll just relax there and sink her feet in the cool water. She saw movement in the water & was unsure what it was. The water began to swirl, and soon rose up. Danya began to freak out. “What the hell.. I'm not going to get wet from that.” Said Danya while trying to grab her sandals, she paused and noticed who it was.

The water opened up in the center, Dawn was inside controlling it, coming down as if she was surfing with out a board and lands perfectly only a few feet form Danya. “Perfect Score.. Try and ride that.. Uhh.. Oh.. * Dawn noticed Danya in front of her * Hi Danya!” said Dawn as the water from behind her returned to where it originated from.

“Hi, Who was is that you were telling a perfect score to?” asked Danya. Kankuro sneaks up behind Dawn, but freezes when he sees Danya. Dawn could feel some tension between the two. “And umm just what was it exactly where you planning to do Kankuro?” asked Dawn teasing & already knew what his plans were. Kankuro snuck a pic into Danya's hand. Danya looked to see what the hell was now in her hand. “Ahh.. Perfect score, yes! Oh Why that would mean I won.. Again.” Said Kankuro teasing Dawn.

Danya looked at the pic and started to laugh. Dawn looked at her, and began to freak out. “Hey! What the hell? Nooo OMFG!” Dawn freaking out knowing full well what Danya was laughing at.

Danya catches her breath. “OMG.. this is so funny!” said Danya and shows Dawn the pic; she nearly faints from embarrassment. *the picture in there was Dawn as a baby about 6 months old & someone put a bra on her butt. Dawn felt horrified. Danya couldn't help herself. “Wow Dawn's started to wear a training bra at 6 months old.” Danya continued to laugh. Kankuro knew he had to end this, before he made it any worse.

He hugged Dawn from behind whispering to her sorry for what he did. Danya stopped laughing and walked forward to the couple and handed Dawn back her picture. “So…when did you two start going out?” asked Danya. “Two days ago” said Kankuro squeezing Dawn more around her waist. “I'm glad you guys are together, well, see you around.” Said Danya as she made her way back to the village.

“We need to get our bags, it's not only going to rain it's going to pour.” Said Dawn. Kankuro looks up at the dark clouds, and agrees. Dawn moves aside but Kankuro cuts her off only to kiss her.
