Chapter 5: Legend about Life After the Assimilation

The Council of the Assimilated World was called after the Assimilation. Oaths were taken, basic laws of Assimilated World were passed on that Council.

Nonats as the same with People of Earth had to live with them. Though some of nonats lived among Evertines. They helped them as far as possible. At first appearance betrayed the deprived who lived among People as they looked like their parents. But the way out was found; the spell of Changing Appearance created by Eosen and Hariot was used. But only Centaurs and some of the Elves could lay the spell. Nonats were put on the special list as magic was able to raise the head in their children. Every year nonats’ children of thirteen years old were looked for and checked.

As for magic-gifted folks they began to live where it was comfortable for them – Delphens developed oceans and seas, Fairies, Centaurs and Leprechauns went to forests, Marluses and Lavits settled near volcanoes, Valits climbed mountains, Gnomes dug secluded caves and Eltars lived on the highest mountains near the heavens. Magic animals settled not far from Inurs who watched them not to meet People.

Elves settled anywhere they wanted. Some of them lived among People, others founded their own settlements. But most of elven villages were situated in mountains not far from volcanoes and close to seas. Elves needed all the four Elements gathered all together in one place. The fifth Element, Element of Senses, was everywhere with them as Air was as well.

Magicians had to rewrite their books and adapt to new magic. Their magic had changed but it was different the magic Evertines owned.

Then all the pieces of magic knowledge were gathered and the magic of Assimilated World was made up; it combined the magic of Evertines and magic of the Earth. Several Schools of magic were founded where the new magic was taught. But now all the Evertines treated magic very cautiously as they were afraid of a new crisis.

The World was going on developing and prospering. The end of the world moved to distant future.

Some more centuries passed.
