Chapter 1: We Don't Forget

Frightened by the crystal clear.

Frightened by the crystal clear,

yet jealous of the vague stitches.

Drawn together like silk to skin

and, you know, we never forget.

Last remarks, tinted with bitter dust,

when a crimson ace lingers with you.

When we wish upon the evening stars

you see them one by one. Slip away.

When we draw the sorrow lines across

the blank canvas of our hearts. We crave.

We'll see the passage's end soon enough

today, where only loneliness remains.

Yet, nevermore will we seek a sparrow,

nevermore will the rook remember tomorrow.

For drawn together, like silk to skin,

is the notion, we don't forget.
