Without Words: chapter 2

There he is, sitting all alone, his black hair hanging in his sad blue eyes. Kris can't believe he is the one who put that look in them. He is about to go talk to Adam when arms wrap around him and a kiss is planted on the back of his neck. He smiles, turning around to find Mika smiling at him. "Hi, baby." he kisses her cheek sweetly, forgetting all about Adam. "Oh my god, Kris! I'm so excited for the basketball match! Aren't you coming to watch?" "Of course I will," he kisses her lips just in time as Adam looks up, "anything for you." Mika is staring at something behind him and Kris follows her gaze to meet a hurt, betrayed blue one. He opens his mouth to speak but, nothing comes out. "Who is he, Kris?" "I-I don't know." he looks back at Adam, missing the smirk on Mika's face as she watches a heartbroken Adam storm away. * The rest of the week goes in a blur. Kris went to the basketball match and watched Mika cheerleading. He was so happy yet, he always felt like something is missing, like a huge chunk of his heart isn't there, replaced with a huge hole. Monday goes by slowly, and unlike any other day, Kris is feeling off. He also hasn't seen Adam at all which makes him worried. "Alli, have you seen Adam?" "He's in the hospital." Kris feels sick, like he's going to throw up, "W-what?" "He's been stressing out so much," she explains, "and he hasn't slept for an entire week." she gives Kris a dirty look and something tells him she knows everything but, he doesn't care. He has to visit Adam. * When Kris makes it to the hospital, he's sick to his stomach; he has never been a fan of hospitals, so he hurries to Adam's room. Once inside, Kris feels his knees go weak and he grabs the wall to steady himself. Adam is lying in the bed, unconscious, he is so pale and there are bags under his eyes from lack of sleep. He looks so...fragile. "A-Adam?" it's barely a whisper but, it doesn't matter; Adam won't hear him, anyway. He pulls a chair and goes over to the bed, sitting next to Adam and taking his hand in his, "Oh god, you are so pale." he pushes a few strands away from Adam's closed eyes, "I'm so sorry." he choked on a sob. It's all his fault; how did he let this happen? How hadn't he notice what Adam was going through? He is so selfish! That night, Kris stayed glued to Adam's side, watching him sleep, petting his hair abd whispering apologies in his ear. He just hopes Aam is fine. * I'm gonna put so much drama in this stor *skips off evilly*
