Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Mort Rainey; In Flames.
there once was a boy, or rather, a man.
he learned how to love, but not according to plan.
the first love he had, she went away,
and because of the other man he couldn’t stay.
Then the ghost of a man, came for the ghost of a tale.
woke him up, and knocked him down,
and wove ancient memories for his head to fill.
“I know I can do it.,, Mort Rainey said,
as he fought against Shooter, with everything he had.
but he wasn’t a fighter, and after not long,
Shooter took over and dragged him along.
he invaded him, his sick broken mind,
and used every bit of darkness he could find.
he unchained himself, and sought for revenge.
as Mort could only watch, without any chance.
he watched her as she ran away,
a swoop of a shovel, nothing more to say.
the anger inside him, build up higher and higher,
molt them together, like the strongest of fire.
That fire calmed down, a new man was born.
who’d rise up from the ashes of death, blood, and corn.
