Book Of Oneshots: Protector

 

Intro

My name is Inyo. I have fallen love with an amazing girl. Her name is Ket. She is the light in my life. Unfortunately she has no idea how I feel. I haven't had the nerves to confess to her. However I will not give up, because I love her and I will win her heart. I just must find the courage to tell how my feelings and I will.

 

Story Start

I walk along the village street when I spot Ket. I perk up "Hey Ket," I greet enthusiastically. Ket looks up and smiles. "Hello Inyo, how are you?" she asks. "Good now that I see you," I say. Ket laughs "Well thank you, that is very sweet of you," she says.

I blush and turn away so Ket wouldn't see my blush. "So umm what are you up too?" I ask. "Me? Nothing much, just going to do some errands around the village," she replies. "Mind if I join you?" I ask. "Not at all," she says.

So together we walk through the village and I help her with her various errands. We talk, we laugh, and we have fu n. I enjoy every moment with her, her laugh, her smile, and everything in between. All too soon it is late and time to go home. With a heavy heart I part with Ket and go home to bed. I wish I could admit my feelings, but somehow I just can't bring myself to tell her. In the next few days I try and give effort to try and tell Ket. However all of my efforts end in vain.

One day hours pass and I haven't seen any sign of Ket. Worried I go out to find her. "Where could she be?" I muse. I try looking in all her favorite places, the training grounds, her house, and even her favorite restaurant. However there is no sign of her. I am frantic and I reach the forest when I hear a familiar voice.

"Let me go jerk!" says the voice. I rush to where I hear the voice and see Ket being cornered by a guy. "Come on cutie don't be shy," he says. At this I growl and my protective side kicks in. My eyes flash in anger and I lounge at the guy.

"GET AWAY FROM HER," I shout and kick him. "The guy glares and fights back. He tries to attack me, but I slam him down and pin him growling. "Dude calm down I was only having some fun," he says, fear evident in his voice. "If I see you near her again, you will regret it, do I make myself clear?!"

I say threateningly. The guy nods and runs off as fast as his legs can carry him. Now calm I turn and look concerned to Ket. "Are you ok?" I ask "I will be thanks to you," she answers. I sigh in relief and wrap my arms around her. "Good, I wouldn't want anything to happen to the girl I love," I say. "Love?" she asks. "Yes, with all my heart," I say. I then see Ket with happiness. "I love you too, my protector," she says. I smile and I place my lips on hers in a sweet kiss.
