TalismanChallenge – Tail Charm Bracelet

Appearance -

Material of Talisman:The thread of the tail bracelet is woven with a hearty strongmaterial called stainless steal but the coating of this metal islaced with gold. Making the bracelet light weight but also at thesame time seeming expensive. The golden paper thin coating of thebracelet is the colour of a bright yellow gold.

While this is a charmbracelet for her tail, there is only one charm to be found. The charmis in the shape of a hollow diamond. The surface polished to a silkysmoothness to ensure no part of a tail could be hurt while in use.The diamond gem is clear like a window. Displaying anything that maybe stored inside.

The interior contentsare records of adventures important to the wearer. This may includeadventure keep sake and badges. These keep sake and badges rotate ona slide show like formation. Each new slide glows softly from withina colour that may reflect that captured moment in time.

How to Store Badges -

In order to store thebadges within, there is a method which must be followed. Firstly thebadge must be prepared for inserting into the gem. Once the badge isready then the wearer of the bracelet must state the time and eventthe item relates too while whispering to the gem to please except thenew offering. If the badge or event is a true record of the wearerthen it will be excepted. If the badge or event is false then the gemwill ignite in flames and be destroyed forever. Thus keeping thecontents pure of falsehoods.

History of the Talisman-

It was said thebracelet was made from the hands of a dying witch who cursed Ember'sfamily to be forever be tied to its fate. If the Gem died then sodid the good fortunes and lives of her family. Ember did not know whythey were cursed with such an item.

This Talisman was thenconsidered a family heirloom to be passed down from mother todaughter over the generations. Inside the clear gem are all the pastevents that shaped the fate and destiny of each daughter who wore thetail charm bracelet before. This item is a reminder of who they areand where the family originally came from but it never was understoodwhy.

Before Ember set offfor her adventures, leaving the warmth of home and the love of afamily. Her mother gave Ember the heirloom. With the heirloom camethe normal caution of being true to herself or the emblem will belost forever.

Placing it on her tail,it was a reminder to Ember of what she was leaving behind but alsowhat adventures and new findings awaited her just like those before.

The talisman wasclasped to her tail in 4 places, ensuring it would not fall off orcome loose if tangled and whipped around so easily. The weight on hertail a symbol to always be grounded and use your head.

There were no specialpowers except the tradition of passing it down over the decades. Thusits legend grew into something more like a superstition for herfamily. To break or loose it would only lead to certain bad luck andhardships for the family for generations to come until the bad luckdebt was paid.

No one knew what thedebt would be; though no one also wanted to be the one to doom theirfamily for generations to come. Ember promised her mother before sheturned to walk off, she would do whatever she could to care for theheirloom and the families future she was not entrusted with.
