A Lawyer's Lost badge: The Investigation of The Lost Badge

My name is Lulubelle, a Popplio, and my partner is Archie, an Aerodactyl, and this is our first day of work after joining the guild. I felt a bit nervous at first, but of course we all felt the same way during our first days, right? So, if we want to be known as being part of the guild by everyone, we have to help the others, there is also dungeon exploration, but we have decided that helping others would be a great start for us!
As we are walking around, looking for things to do, we just noticed a Luxray desperately looking for something. It looks like the thing that this Pokémon was looking seems important. If I were in their place, I would also try to look for said item. I really feel bad for them!
"Archie, I think this Pokémon needs help!" I said to my partner with sympathy.
"Well, yeah! Helping others is important for our guild! Especially our reputation!" he said. In this case, he's right!
We have approached the worried Luxray and asked them what happened. The Pokémon looked at us, and they sure look very desperate.
"Oh my goodness! You're finally here! As you can see, I have lost my defense attorney's badge, and I'm desperately looking for it because I have a court case tomorrow! I am a lawyer at the Stellar central courthouse, and without my badge, I will not be recognized by others!"
I slowly approached the lawyer and began to comfort them. "Don't be sad, we are going to help you find the badge. Now tell me, what was the last time you had it?"
"Hmm... from what I remember, I showed my badge to other people. Maybe I have accidentally bumped into one and it dropped from me..." explained the Luxray.
"I guess we all have interrogate the Pokémon that the Luxray has been talking to them." suggested Archie.
"Good idea! And since we are in the town, the place where I have lost my badge, it will be an easy task, right?" said the lawyer, hoping for the luck. "From what I remember, I showed my badge to five people. Not a lot of them, so, there might be a chance to find it."
Archie and I have started to interrogate the people that the Luxray has described to us. One being a Skitty who was feeling glad that there is a lawyer in the town, but didn't see the badge falling when they left. The other one being a Primeape that felt annoyed when the Luxray was shoving the badge to his face, however, judging how most of his species are always shown to be angry, his story was obviously exaggerated. Yet another one was a Sneasel, who was more supportive for the Luxray and only wished good luck on the job, and also claims that the badge didn't fall. The fourth one was a Gimmighoul, who claims that they were also showing their coin collection after the lawyer showed their badge. They also said that if their badge fell off, they would quickly give them back since it's not some poke or different kind of coins, which didn't happen. The last one was a Psyduck, but when we asked her about the lawyer, she claims that she doesn't remember that happening, which gives us an unknown answer. The Luxray approached and told us that that's the Pokémon that they have bumped into, so, that might be the place where the badge should be. We tried to look after it, but it's not there. Maybe someone stole the defense attorney's badge?
"This is not good... my badge is gone forever and I will be fired..." said the lawyer with their hopes lost.
"Don't give up, lawyer! There might be an another way to find the badge!" I said to comfort them. "It might be hard, but if you try harder, you will finally find your badge!"
During the conversation, Archie has spotted a Liepard who was wearing a badge. Would that be the badge that we were all looking for? The Aerodactyl asked the Luxray and pointed at the purple feline Pokémon if that is the badge that they are looking for. The lawyer's eyes have widened, that was the badge that we were all looking for!
Archie soared in the air, and caught the Liepard with his feet. The purple feline didn't see that coming.
"Alright, why are you wearing the badge, thief?" asked the Aerodactyl while not being amused.
"I just found it on the ground, okay? If I find something, it's mine! Finders keepers!" answered the Liepard.
The Luxray and I approached the thief with mad looks on our faces. "What you did was wrong! This is a defense attorney's badge, and if you steal and wear it, it's like you steal someone's identity!" I said.
"Well, actually, I am a Luxray, and this is a Liepard, even though we're both felines, we're very different by the appearance, so, technically, it's not an identity theft. But it's still wrong to steal a lawyer's badge!" said the lawyer.
"I just wanted to look beautiful!" yelled the purple feline.
"Yeah, but not by stealing stuff!" I said.
"Looks like you're the next to be in the court, Liepard!" said the Luxray.
"I would've gotten away if it wasn't daytime..." murmured the Liepard.
A few hours later, after the thief has been put to the courtroom hallway before they will find out of their guilt. The Luxray, now with their defense attorney's badge and felt greatful for the help, has thanked us for finding it and can finally have the court case with no problem. We both are glad for helping them and began to return back to our guild.
For our first mission, it was great to help someone in need, especially when they're an important person, and Archie felt glad to catch a thief, since he can fly and Pokémon that can't fly don't see it coming. I wonder what the next mission will be...
