Luciferous WIP

This, as it states in the title, is a Work in Progress. It is an illustration for a poem posted by my friend, written about him by his friend, blah blah. I wanted to illustrate it so badly, but my artistic need has died down far too much of late, until tonight. I'm posting this for now, to get a glimpse of what it will turn out to be...

I'm excited. I won't show it to the poet until it's finished, but I'd like to. It'll be a huge hit. I can see that already. Thanks so much for doing this. It means a lot.

It's all done now! Sorry for my late reply. It's in my gallery, though, should you still wish to see it. Smile

This is really cool. The wings look fantastic. What kind of a creature is it, exactly?

I don't know... Like I told Lady, I will post the poem I drew it for in the finished product's description. It's entitled "Angel" (the poem, not my drawing), but described leather-muscled wings... I'm just drawing my interpretation.

This looks really neat so far. I love how the wings look. They almost look like bat wings. It looks great. Can't wait to see the final outcome.

The description in the poem the piece illustrates is "leather-muscled wings", so I figured this is my interpretation of that... When I'm done the work, I will post the poem with it, so everyone can see.

Embarrassed I've been waiting patiently for my muse to wack me solidly in the back of the head. Finally I got the proper mood tonight. Jon's birthday and all... dad's day is coming up Sunday, too, so perhaps it's the urgency to finish -something-.... Thanks, luv. I'm glad you came by. Bounce
