Another portrait but this time of a friend. I thought he looked so much of how I pictured this character in a book that I named the portrait after him.
That hair is cool as hell mate. Bet your pal was quite pleased with the way he turned out here! ... And yes, I have stalked you all the way from Elfwood. *slinks back into shadows and falls down man hole* It's cool to see your new stuff up without having to wait a month for a ticket.
Andy!!!! Glad you finaly came!! My friend was really loving this pic especialy since it was him. I don't know what it is but most people like it when their drawn. They usualy like it more than just a simple photo of themselves. Anyways I posted a welcome for you in the forum. It's great to see you here buddy!!!
Thank you, my wife thinks it's lovely also, in fact this is one of her favorite portraits that i've done. I hope you feel the same about this one also. *smiles*
You have really out done yourself with this one Lloyd. I am always blown away by your drawings. You have really captured his soul in his eyes. Remember what we talked about soulful eyes? You are so very brilliant Lloyd. I love this one. Right down to the dreads.
Oooh, I like hanging dread locks, the looks uber realistic. And the eyes of him, you could stare into them and become transfixed because they look so darn good. Awesomeness!
Yea. You should be proud. Is that really how your friends hair was....? Kinda crazy huh? lol I still think you did an awesome job. (also on your business trip...good luck with that also.)
Thanks Mal, yes his hair is or rather was like that when I drew him but he's shaved his head since then and now sports a mohawk. Also thanks for the luck i'll see you next week!!

And did I mention that the thing that caught me most were his eyes? If I didn't then yes, they did. Those are such... deep eyes.
