Survivor

Posted Dec 23, 2008, 12:48:19 AM UTC

This a drawing that I'm still working on.  There really is no story behind this character right, although I do have a opposite character and  have created her in the basis that she is a lone survivor fighting for her life.

The drawing is in pencil and was cleaned up on Photoshop and I will be continuing using Photoshop to create a digital version.

Her hair is nice and so is her body. Except the hands and legs. The arms are far too short and same with the legs. I would suggest lengthening them a tad bit before coloring it fully. Smile The hands need to be touched up a bit. but I'm not so great at hands either...>.> ^-^

    Great work though. Smile

Thank you. After I had scanned it in I did notice that the arms and legs seemed a little off. I actually did make the legs alittle longer before I posted and thought they may have been too long. And the arm will be fixed. Hands are hard for me too. Especially trying to get the right angle. Again Thank you for you comments and advice.

Yes, I totally understand you situation. Smile I was horrible at hands before, and my proportions for legs and hands (Including the body) were totally off the scale. >.< But then I decided to practice and practice till I got better. Smile I am alot farther than I used to be. Wink Just keep practicing and you'll make it there! ^-^ Really, you don't notice the legs very much in your picture. It's just the hands that kind of "Stick" out among the rest of the picture. I would just start practicing them. Smile Your very welcome! Big Smile
