Very well drawn with or with out a reference. I've always loved drawing horses. Your various pencil strokes make the image 'move'. I personally don't find anything to 'roast' you for. My drawing teacher might suggest more dark to light values in your contour lines. But that's my drawing teacher..art teachers are so picky!!Very cool!

Wow, congratulation ! Its amazing...and without any aids. Wow. Good work. i love it!!!! The only thing i see, i think his legs are too short. Other than that, its awesome.
