Does your character often use a specific mode of transportation? Draw or write about your character in their car or spaceship, on their unicycle, unicorn, or whatever it is they use to get around.

"Meki's asleep with her head on my lap
And Sylvander's also decided to take a nap
Don't want to move, or I'll wake up my friends
Guess I-
Will just sit here
And sing this song again"
"Silent on the rails, not a sound, not a sight
Passing through the channel of quiet unbroken night
Hours 'till we're there, and there's nothing to do
Perhaps-
It won't hurt
If I close my eyes until then, too..."
When Paiko says that he had never left the space-time suspended facility until coming to the Paperverse, that's not entirely true.
During certain weeks of high stress and high importance, he and the other sperix kiddos were sent to a different pocket domain to stay out of the way for a little while. Travelling out of Katanorias requires a regulated mode of transport; one does not simply walk through the suspension barrier. That's why the Transversal train was built.
As someone accustomed to having the ground under his feet, with control over his own pace and speed, Paiko did not enjoy his first ride on the Transversal. Being stuck in one place for extended amounts of time without a means of escape in case emergencies happened was not a happy prospect. Though they did ensure him that they wouldn't be letting anyone on the train who would attack other passengers.
When Meki and Sylvander fell asleep within ten minutes of setting out, he made it a point to stay awake, to keep watch in case someone were to take advantage of their blissfully unaware sleep-states.
It was hard. Especially when there was no one around to talk to. There were a couple of passengers at least two cars over; other than that, most of the train was empty.
It was too dark outside to watch the scenery, and he was stuck in between his sleeping friends, so he couldn't get up to explore either. The gentle rumble of the rails under the train car was soothing, almost hypnotizing. His eyes were getting tired. There were still two hours left until they got to the next domain.
Maybe he'd take a little rest, too.
(With one ear up just in case, of course.)
Once he'd gotten used to the idea of taking naps on these long rides (which did help with the time-lag that came from crossing domains), he realized he had also built up a measure of trust in the group transport system. It was definitely faster to ride than to walk, safer to travel in groups than to hike alone. The solitary, suspicious, skittish mindset of old might be trained out of him yet.
**Hidden Song Part Two!
In which, once you find it, the italicized lyrics at the top can be sung to the tune of the chorus. This one isn't as obvious, aside from the fact that it has something to do with the mode of transport. There are hint words in the previous paragraphs (and maybe even a link hiding in here somewhere...!). Happy searching ^v^

(Not to mention the art itself is delicious - I love your environments, ad your sketchy style really adds to this! Love it!)
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the piece! ^v^
Public transportation is the way to go! That, or just walking. (But even so, you can't exactly just walk over a dimensional gap)
My eyes aren't the best today but still gave the song hunt a go I think I found them? I'll my guess in discord but its most likely to be wrong anyways XD (to not ruin the fun for others here )
Congratulations once again on finding the song You're much better at this than you're giving yourself credit for!
Aww thanks your too sweet ^u^
