How did Seifer manage to survive his intention to -literally fight the nearest god- in Aridin? -

Rogtuk.

Possibly one of their first encounters and one that perhaps explains Seifer's -dedicated attempts- to piss off the orc just to get a reaction other than that apparently infuriating unruffled calm, Rogtuk has been around long enough to know -really bad life choices- in action and decided not to let this one slide. Even if sweaty humans probably smell weird, though to be fair... Seifer didn't exactly arrive in Aridin dressed for the weather.

  I mean it works for jrpg characters, why not Seifer? He's pretty close to one being a ttrpg character.
