#84 - Man vs Machine

Is your character made of flesh? Draw or write them as a robot. Made of steel? Draw or write them as an organism.

-

The sperikii are organisms. That's a rule. Dimensional energy doesn't channel the same through artificial constructs. Besides, the kiddos are much less destructible than robots, and they don't need charging.

(Just snacks. Lots of snacks.)

That doesn't stop Telerand from drawing up tinkering blueprints for droid-y design daydreams in his waiting time. The Paiko one could be a good shiny detector. A little less cuddly, however, but not as jumpy or paranoid at the slightest sounds. Scap- well, he doesn't need another Scap. That boy works himself to the bone trying to keep busy with things to do. Take that privilege away from him and he might resent his "replacement".

Ah well. Blueprints stay blueprints. Maybe he'll bring these to Navi next time he visits, and she can do something with them.

The robot designs are so clean and smooth!

The sketch layer (probably barely visible underneath) is a squiggly mess haha - but decided to go fully digital for this one to keep with the "robot" theme ^^

Funny thing is, I don't draw robots, but I do have lots and lots of Rift Patroller designs; maybe the spacesuits and helmets translated over somehow Wink
