A true encounter

Captain's Log: stardate unknown. They gave me a couple of days after the wyvern fight to rest, but I need to find work quickly if I am to repay my debts for that affair. Lucky enough, this world seems to have a rather lively freelance market, of which I enrolled myself. I already recieved a hunting task, for which I am preparing to fulfill, with the examiner they said I would require as a new worker. My target is easy enough. One small rowdy blob of animated goo. I feel they grossly underevaluate my skills, but I don't see flight in my future for some time yet. Seriously, how much could this thing possibly do? End Log.

(Artist Note: at the time of this drawing, Samuel currently does not have either wind magic or his Steamroller ability, as he refused the introductory training they offered. I think he will change his mind on that when he returns to town.)
